Didn't the ~18 min version of November Rain also have something to do with Manny Charlton?

They need to stop sending these songs to Helen Keller to mix. I just listened to the high-res FLAC on headphones. I could hear the clipping, even on cheaper headphones. Sounds like the guitars are super heavy on one channel. They overdid it with the vocal processing too. I bet a rough mix from 2008 would be many time better, in all aspects. Overall, slightly clearer than the leak, but the mix is worse, how can it be? They have fallen from their grace with me now.

Soul Monster still brings up Guns for me in the US! -
In Bach's defense, he probably heard a significantly better version with Buckethead and/or Robin, and I'm sure the mixing was fantastic too. Same with his description of Sorry, what he heard was probably similar to the Village version, with Axl vocals. What I would give to have a studio rip of everything Axl played for him in New York in 2007...

Why wasn’t Brain credited on Hard Skool like he was on Perhaps and Absurd? Also, I wouldn’t take her website as gospel. Maybe she heard a better mix that did have Brain on it. She worked with the band before NITL after all. Could be pillow talk for all we know when we’re talking about Brain and Melissa.

Monsters is believed to be Soul Monster, which was heard at the 2010 Vienna after-party loaded with members of the band and random hot bitches, and some fans, that song was mistakenly thought to be The General. The General and Soul Monster (Monsters, most likely) are two separate songs. Why they were registered as one, that's a good question, but they clearly are not based on the officially released The General, and the live performances.

Axl in 2014 said the second part of Chinese was already recorded, and that they have worked on some of that, and written new things. We can expect 12-14 songs for CD2, based on the first album and other Guns albums. 1. Hard Skool 2. Absurd 3. Perhaps 4. The General 5. Monsters 6. Atlas Shrugged 7. Going Down 8. Oh My God So that leaves 4+ other songs. Could be Nothing, Eye On You, State Of Grace, Berlin, Seven, Tonto, Cuban Skies, Monstrocity, Quick Song, Seven, Thyme/P.R.L. and Zodiac 13 and perhaps others, and also some of these may be the same songs with different names. If I were a betting man, not counting remixes, and not counting the 5 NITL re-worked songs (if you count Monsters), I believe they still have a dozen or so completed songs with vocals we have yet to hear officially. So, not too far off from your assessment. I'm just a bit more optimistic.
