I ordered two from Japan. One to keep sealed, and the other to give to my dad. I don't really need an opened copy because I purchased the high res audio for both songs and can burn a mix CD and include Monsters.

I had a concern this would happen, and it has. No excuse for that. Terrible production. If both songs ever end up on an eventual album, I hope they mix and master them properly.

Can anyone with the 2004-2010 mix confirm? It's probably mixed in such a way where it can be discerned.

If I can hear clipping in my stock 1997 Ford Ranger stereo I'm sure others can as well.

That would be a nice single pair. Though I’d prefer unheard stuff, maybe pair Monsters with an unheard song and same with Atlas if they can manage to prevent more leaks. 😂

Do you think it was ever the plan to include Monsters? If they were, I assume they would have also planned to do that on the Japanese CD, and I highly doubt they disposed of and re-made all those CD less Monsters just because of the vinyl issues in two months.

They nuked it from the release, apparently.

My Japanese CD was shipped. I'm in the US, so I imagine it will take some time. Bummer it won't include Monsters. My vinyl looked ok, from a quality standpoint, Perhaps was clear. The art on the back was slightly blurry, but maybe that was intentional.

My vinyl came in today too, well three copies did. Have not opened them yet though. I wanted three just in case there’s a monster hiding in one.

Sorry fits in very well with The General, and Monsters. If only the latter two had the same level of production and mastering. I gotta believe there’s killer superior mixes of those three tracks. The Village I’m Sorry with Axl on vocals would be my favorite mix of that song and I very much believe there’s Buckethead/Robin versions of Soul Monster and The General somewhere.

If only it was that simple! As luck would have it, my Perhaps vinyl will arrive tomorrow, the day she leaves.

My ex girlfriend and I are at the awkward stage to where I ended things (long overdue) and now she's moving out, so we're still around one another for a bit longer. Every time I still have to deal with her bullshit, I keep thinking: "Ohhhhhhh but it's over now!" One more day left, then I'm free again.

Oh, I would love to hear Shackler's Revenge live again. One of my favorite songs they played live. I heard them play it in 2011 or 2012. (Maybe both?) I wish they would feature Richard more on new material. Have him record some solos, instead of Slash, especially the Bucket ones if they are not going to keep Bucket.

From an eBay seller, they are probably getting them there.

If referring to the studio remix leak, "Better2" existed in January of 2008, before Ashba was in the band. So, it's possible it was not his playing. We of course don't know what "Better2" was exactly, it may have been the acoustic version Bumblefoot recorded, which was a tremendous waste of time and effort.

Wasn't there a Fortus connection? As It Began, Me & My Elvis, Zodiac, etc. are all amazing instrumentals and would be killer songs with a proper Axl vocal take.

I just ordered two of the Japanese Perhaps CD singles.

My comments (and by others) on the mixing doesn't have anything to do with the content of the actual song. It's a technical issue, something most small local bands wouldn't even have pass by them before pressing.
