  1. It was on one of the forums. He was somewhat active back then. Can't remember if it was here or the old CD dot com forum. He said something like: "It's on the tip of my cock, so check the back of your throat."
  2. Years ago, I asked Bumblefoot about the prized version of Shackler's Revenge with Buckethead's solo. His answer was not appropriate, my question certainly struck a nerve.
  3. That I very much believe, makes sense too. So now, gotta get those reference MP3s they were sent.
  4. It won't, trust me. It survived with Biden. (Not that I like Trump) But, it is pretty damn sad if the best the democrats have is Biden, and I can say the same thing to the republicans about Trump. Neither party truly supports what is important to me, so I don't really care either way. None of the above will matter when I'm president! My first act, of course, will be obtaining all of the Chinese Democracy material with Robin and Bucket's parts present.
  5. I feel if they ever release CD2 (or similar), The General leading into Monsters as the last track would be a great closer. Zodiac 13 would be a nice opener, with that piano intro. The 2000 mix of Hardschool also would have been a nice album opener with the long guitar and drum intro. Now, it's trash so maybe they will leave it off an eventual album.
  6. When the reunion happened, I assumed worst case was Slash would re-record some of the guitar leads. After getting a handful of singles, it is apparent that not only do we have to worry about Slash's playing over nearly entire superior/better fitting original parts by Robin and Bucket, to add insult to injury, we have to deal with awful production too. It wouldn't be so bad if they kept up the nice production of the CD material (over produced, yes but at least they sound crisp as you said) with Slash and Duff added to the mix. The only difference between the re-worked NITL touched CD stuff and the 2008 album that I like is they cranked the bass guitar up in the mix. (Probably because it's Duff, he's back, in case you don't know!)
  7. Well I can’t read! So someone needs to read one to me. My mom has been typing my posts here. She’s happy I have friends here. I went to Marne Elementary. It doesn’t exist anymore. Marne used to be named Berlin, but changed the name during The Great War. Maybe Berlin (Oklahoma) is about that? Marne is best known for Berlin Raceway. Perhaps Axl has been there for a race or two.
  8. On the bright side, maybe the wars will stop? (Or we won't have any additional ones)
  9. This is most likely, unfortunately. I would very much like CD2 to leak, as it existed prior to the NITL lineup. Then, who cares what they release.
  10. It very well probably sound different than anyone here can imagine, like The General as you said. I love the 2000 Oklahoma instrumental. I hope we eventually get to hear a CD era version with vocals. Same with Zodiac.
  11. We know Oklahoma came from the bombing they suffered in the mid '90s. I always took the new title of Berlin to be related to either the German's last stand in Berlin in 1945, or the wall coming down in the early '90s. So I think the song has heavy subject matter, that could be related to war/terrorism, etc.
  12. I realize Fortus said something to that effect, but we know Monsters is around the corner seeing how Slash and Duff worked on it, and likely Atlas as well. There's still Oklahoma/Berlin, Seven, Thyme/P.R.L, Oh My God, Nothing, Eye On You, Tonto, Monstrocity, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if a few or more of these songs end up on an eventual album, regardless of where the band says the songs come from. Recall when the official Guns site said Perhaps was a 2023 recording? I think they have that ready for future material that's actually old.
  13. He won't need to if they use Buckethead and Robin's leads.
  14. You know what would be cool? Getting the instrumentals Marco Beltrami was supplied with. Thyme, Leave Me Alone (presumably Monsters), The General, and Seven. They all likely have Robin and Bucket on them. Getting those 4 instrumentals after his work was added would be even cooler. He's a professional, and assuming he still has copies of the work, which is probable, I highly doubt he would put his career on the line by sharing/selling/leaking such material.
  15. I wonder if/when Oklahoma got vocals. The leaked instrumental was from 2000, and I believe the Rolling Stone said they heard an instrumental of it in 1999. So later in 2000 or 2001+ is when it most likely got vocals. Zodiac 13 is the mystery, as one of the versions from the Village leaks (from 2000) was labeled as no vox (or something similar) but the 2001 mix (which I don't like as much as the 2000 mix, piano intro too quiet and Robin's beginning of the solo is not there).
  16. Velvet Revolver 2.0? I can't see that happening. I could see Duff and Slash doing another band again but I doubt they would take anyone from nuguns. But, it could happen as Fortus and Slash seem to mesh well. Guns N' Roses is the "safest" and most financially successful band to maintain for the three classic lineup members that are there now. Even if Axl sound half as good as he does now in ten years, I still think they would do better as a band than fracturing again. Remember how in 2011 a lot of us thought Axl didn't sound great? Well, he probably sounds half as good now as he did then. Regardless, I would still pay to see them if they come back to my state. I do hope they let Fortus shine more on future studio material. On the more Bucket heavy stuff, if they have to re-rerecord his parts, have Fortus do it. He's capable.
  17. This is the most realistic prediction. However, I would prefer a full album, with the best of Buckethead and Robin intact.
  18. Have you listened to P.R.L.? Just kidding. I think Axl (or whomever) was heavily inspired by NIN when that tune was created.
  19. Zodiac for me as well, and Me & My Elvis, Oklahoma, and Circus Maximus as well. (Hopefully for the latter, they get rid of some of the excessive Pitman bits, most notably in the beginning, one of the reoccurring sounds doesn't fit the song)
  20. It is possible such a version exists. Maybe the Bucket and/or Robin version was longer, like with Robin’s guitars on Hardschool. The long drum and guitar intro to HS was nice. Then it was replaced with the Duff bass and school bell. Such cringe. I can barely listen to the official version now. After the official release of The General, and presuming the Monsters leak is going to be the final version or close to it, it’s possible the vocal take we heard on the State Of Grace leak will be final.
  21. I have a feeling this bigger Thrawn movie will be more like what fans wanted or even expected of the sequel trilogy, especially if they borrow from more EU material.
