  1. I understand your point, but let’s say if the next album was 12-14 songs, it could easily contain a mix of new songs, reworked CD songs, and unchanged CD songs. If it’s mixed and mastered properly, most casual fans are never going to know Robin played on X, Slash on Y, Bucket on Z, etc. Plus it would make things easier and cheaper to not have to record more and remix. I’m not saying the above is likely to happen, but it could. I don’t think the more than half of CD2 that hasn’t been officially released will be abandoned. The real question is what form is will take. Hopefully, we get the original mixes with the older lineups as some sort of bonus or anniversary release if they are not just put out as is.
  2. A hacked email, if I'm not mistaken. It's from January of 2008. It started to circulate a few years later between a few, and eventually made its way out.
  3. I'd love it if a studio Silkworms exists with Buckethead and the full vocals we heard for the first live performances exists.
  4. I wonder what the 2008 mixes of Perhaps, Hardschool, Silkworms, The General, Soul Monster, Atlas, and Nothing sounded like.
  5. I have a 2011 HP laptop running Windows 7 that I use at home. It identifies as Windows 10.
  6. That is what I was thinking as well. I would need someone to explain what it means to me so I don't get into big trouble with the wrong words about people who are different.
  7. I was thinking about Monsters again today and about how it used to be called Soul Monster and had great Buckethead guitar work.
  8. I hope we get Monsters with Atlas (or whatever) soon. Then I can add that two-track CD to my Hard Skool CD and Perhaps CD, so that's 6 songs. Almost half of the second part of Chinese Democracy. Or better yet, they release the rest of the songs they have as an album, Slash or not.
  9. (It goes without saying, but all of the below are mixes with Bucket and/or Robin and Brain/Josh on drums) 1. Better 2. This I Love 3. Hardschool 4. Soul Monster 5. Zodiac 6. Seven 7. Madagascar 8. Shackler's Revenge 9. Sorry 10. Perhaps 11. Scraped 12. Oh My God 13. If The World 14. Prostitute 15. Tonto 16. Perhaps 17. Monstrocity 18. Silkworms
  10. A girl at my work "hearts" my work-related messages to her in our inter-office chat application. (As opposed to a thumbs up or whatever) I find it a little odd, but I wonder if that would be considered unprofessional? (Obviously probably not any form of harassment) Others have done it to me before, but it's usually her. It doesn't bother me at all, but I myself would be careful doing it to others. She happens to be attractive, but it wouldn't bother me regardless.
  11. I agree. It is difficult to assess, however. How many drinks is too many, etc. But when in doubt, don't do it! Gotta save room for Jesus. Sex is supposed to be a gift of God between married couples anyways.
  12. Not sure. I was accused once. We didn't even do anything outside of making out, and later I had found out she would make such accusations against other men too who she actually had been with sexually. I think she had some issues to say the least. I don't even like thinking about it. What sucks, is even if the accused are innocent, friends/acquaintances/family, etc. will think and act different around you. It's a shitty thing to do to someone. Of course, every situation is different and it's not always black and white. In the situation I was in, even her best friend didn't believe her, and some people had defended me who I didn't expect to, and I'll never forget that. These types of situations reveal who your real friends are. I recall a story years ago where a man and woman had a one-night stand. Both were under the influence of alcohol. This occurrence is not unusual. Both parted ways in the morning, the guy left his name and number behind because he apparently wanted to see the woman again, or perhaps wanted to go out with her again on a date, maybe a relationship, etc. and she felt she was violated that night after some time had gone by. I believe he was arrested and charged. I don't recall all the details, but this is an example of how complex such cases can be, where the accused had no malicious intent, and thought the accuser had consented, even if they are under the influence of alcohol. There's an argument one cannot consent while under the influence of alcohol or other substances, but how does one handle this? Breathalyze someone right before doing the deed? I suppose "common sense" applies, but again, every situation is different.
  13. That would be great, but I was thinking since Sebastian and DJ live in Vegas (as far as I know) it would be convenient for them to appear. Not sure about Paul though, that was more of a joke. Don't forget Civil War!
  14. The AFD 5 show should be in Las Vegas, NV. Welcome To The Jungle It's So Easy Mr. Brownstone Nightrain Chinese Democracy Absurd Civil War November Rain My Michelle (Guest: Sebastion Bach) This I Love (Guest: DJ Ashba) Ballad Of Death (Guest: DJ Ashba) Hard Skool Back In Black Coma Perhaps Pretty Tied Up Sympathy For The Devil (Guest: Paul Tobias) Thunderstruck Monsters Paradise City
  15. That is true, almost all of the songs since that time were leaked prior to official release, if that. This I Love, Scraped, Oh My God, and Sorry I believe are examples of songs that didn't leak before release. The General too. Perhaps I missed one or two, but not Perhaps.
  16. I agree the mixing on CD largely wasn’t as good as the leaked mixes, but the mastering by Bob Ludwig was incredible. And over all production of that album better than the rehashed songs by NITL.
