  1. “Yeah, there’s no way three guitar players would work in this band right now. Three guitars is actually very difficult to do. Buckethead did it really well, I think. It worked with me, him and Robin Finck. You have to leave space for each other to create that big dynamic. Buckethead really understood that because he’s very musical. And I’m a big fan of Robin’s, he’s incredible, too… both of them knew it had to fit together like a puzzle.”

This is totally a dig at Bumblefoot 😅

Josh Freese is scheduled for Wednesday!

    This is great news @Gambit83!

He's a beast of a drummer. Best one I've ever seen live hands down. I've seen him once with NIN and once with Sting. Freese playing Stewart Copeland's parts on Police songs was pure bliss. If you can ask him anything about how he approaches Copeland's material and how challenging is it to fill those shoes, I'll be very happy.

And I'll be even happier you can get from him any unheard news about one of the most fascinating eras in GNR history 😁

why the fuck is a 7” vinyl selling for $30? It's not shipping out until June but that doesn't shock me since the pandemic messed everything up with the vinyl factories.

I guess it's just because of the demand. They know it will be the most requested format and they will try to milk as much money from it as possible. And they put studio Absurd and the other live tracks on the cd to give people a reason to buy that "not so much liked anymore" format too.

This one is getting very positive response from the casuals on social media, as far as I've seen.

Seems a little different here. Had a quick look at some of the italian music websites posting the news/video and the comment sections were full of casuals bashing it. Almost all the sites announced it as "a song originally written in the Chinese Democracy sessions and then scrapped" and the words "Chinese Democracy" carry a huge stigma in the eyes of casual fans around here (well, not only here, but still). Seen some positive comments too, but much more bashing than I thought.

I heard “perhaps” awhile back tho not very clear audio. Was there any other names at which that one was going under?

I get lost in all the leak info which tracks have we still not even heard a leak of

    soul monster? Oklahoma?

Inject an album into my veins what a time to be alive gentlemen

No other titles for Perhaps are known as of now.

Oklahoma was heard in the Village leaks as an instrumental (Axl said in the forum chats the title was then changed to Berlin).

Soul Monster is assumed to be Me & My Elvis from the Village leaks (instrumental too)

Duff had mentioned in an interview in July 1996 that they were about to work on a song for the next Jackie Chan movie.

Just had a look at the Jackie Chan movie chronology and, if anyone is interested, the movie was most likely to be Mr Nice Guy, released in January '97.
Edit: more browsing revealed that, apparently, the one released in January 97 in the USA is First Strike (originally released for the Asian market one year earlier). So it could be either the american version of First Strike or Mr Nice Guy (released in the USA only in 98).
