The band Perhaps shows up as the second result after GNR. Maybe because GNR are more popular.

I uploaded the screenshot on tinypic, but it says it's going to be deleted after three weeks, so it's going to disappear from here eventually.

Also, none of the other titles (The General, Atlas, Soul Monster...) are returning any GNR results for me.

For what it's worth: on my Spotify (Italy) I've been trying to search for all kinds of GNR unreleased titles since the "spotify-gate" started months ago. I never got a single result. None of those titles ever returned any GNR-related results to me.

Today, if I search for 'Perhaps', Guns N'Roses is the first result under "artists".

As far as I remember, no similarities at all, completely different tracks. I might still have the old Fortus file somewhere, I'll check tomorrow and send you if I can find it.

People have been trying to open the Perhaps linkfire for weeks, just to check if it got activated (the one for Hardskool started to work a few days before the official release). The other day someone tried as usual and it was now displaying the work in progress page with the countdown.

That doesn't really sound like Perhaps to me

Actually, the main piano riff of the song sounds very Fiona Apple-style and I remember at least one interview with Axl expressing appreciation for Fiona. Because of this, if I had to bet one cent, I'd say it's an Axl song, built around an Axl piano lick. Most likely Paul will get a writing credit like many other songs from that era, but my educate guess is that it's mainly Axl's.

Yes I remember that, but maybe he was not really hanging out in the studio by then, who knows. Also, I wonder why they didn't even include his picture in the CD booklet. The only other ex member who didn't get a picture I'd Josh, and I can understand that because none of his drum parts were used on the final record. Tobias guitars, on the other hand, are all over the album.

Don’t see any reason why they couldn’t incorporate them like this for show merch designs at the very least.

Might be because of image rights reasons and how they worked out to split merchandise earnings.

That said, I also remember a slightly different design, like all of them riding in the same care or something like that. Or maybe I'm just mixing things up.

Of course, the first and biggest reason is that "the big three" are the main attraction and the members of the legal partnership. That definitely comes before any "artistic" choices.

To be fair, there were some artworks in the past that displayed the whole band including Melissa, though they are just a handful and it's understandable to some extent. I guess it's much easier to find cool design ideas with just three characters than with "the whole squad". Whenever they used a concept that would work better with more people, they used all 7 of them.

They are adding My World to the setlist. I'm sure it's this.

I agree. The only thing I don't understand is why Brain had a specific credit mentioned in the YouTube info when Absurd came out but he didn't get one for Hard Skool.

Not judging or mocking, in fact,  I am contemplating on watching 2-3 shows in Europe this July, but I am afraid I might find it boring the 2nd time around in such a short time. It's one of my biggest concert regrets, to be honest. I attended back to back nights in Rome and Milan back in 2010.

Knowing how they roll, I didn't expect any setlist changes or anything like that, but it was my first time seeing GNR and I was excited to see them twice no matter what.

The show in Rome was great, Axl was really on fire and delivered some great vocals. They all sounded a little tired at the show in Milan so, in hindsight, it didn't give me any "plus" seeing that and I would have been ok just with Rome anyway.

I was very bummed for a weird coincidence though: I caught two of the very few shows in that tour where they didn't play 'Better', which is one of my fave GNR songs and I was looking forward to hearing live. It's not an easy song to pull for Axl and its live renditions are never that great, especially these days, but I was looking forward to it nevertheless. They had dropped it for some shows in the middle of that tour, no idea why, only for it to return later on.

In hindsight, it "hurts" even more, because when I bought tickets I had a choice to make: either see GNR two nights back to back or see them just in Rome and get a ticket to go to Rome again a couple of months later to see Prince (being based in a different city than Rome and Milan I had to take into account travel expenses too, so seeing both GNR shows AND Prince was not an option). I was very excited about GNR and thought "I'll catch Prince next time...". Little did I know.

EDIT: I just want to add that GNR back then were not the "tour all the time" band they were soon to become. The chance of seeing them live still felt like something special. Over the previous 10 years, they only played a handful of shows in 2001, the aborted US tour in 2002 and a solid comeback tour in 06/07. With the whole year of silence/no-tour after Chinese was released, their touring choices still felt quite unpredictable, that's why I jumped at the chance of seeing them live twice in two days. Nowadays, when they do one tour cycle after the other, I don't think I would do it again.
