  1. For many years I only had the audio for this and never knew why Axl stopped singing. It Wasn’t until I finally got it on vhs (pre YouTube days) that I finally saw what happened when Axl threw the mic.

i swear that I wore out that vhs… it was my first actual visual introduction to GnR.

Isn't a poser someone who can't back up what they try to represent? How is he a poser when he was frontman of the biggest band in the world at the time? Everyone was trying to be HIM, not the other way around. At that point, you're pretty much free to do anything without being a poser lmao.

Not sure… he was posing as a cyclist as far as I can tell… not sure if he rides

One big thing was the legal conundrum with Irving Azoff. Axl sued in May 2010 and settled in June 2011. Irv wielded power at Ticketmaster and LiveNation (just merged at the time). That meant Guns could only play clubs and festivals stateside while the proceedings went on. I think they had to make a deal about a certain amount of US dates, with a certain amount of those proceeds going to Azoff.

Forced Axl isn't what you call a happy one.

The fact that Axl didn’t have a rant onstage about Irving is a miracle, but more than likely trying to dodge a defamation lawsuit.

The tracks were already cut by the time they hit the road, Axl was probably still tweaking and maybe Slash was doing a few overdub? but I think the main thing once they hit the road was mixing and mastering. I think the looseness here is more to do with A) first time playing it live B) they probably hadn't heard it in a while and were forgetting the parts they played and the arrangement.

I’m pretty sure they played it months earlier at rock in rio, and I think the arrangement was as close to the official release as possible and better than this one other than Axls mic cutting out for a while.

Leave Me Alone and Seven, a mix of Silkworms similar to the live performances back in the day, Oh My God (newer versions before the version that leaked) and earlier songs not from the Village leaks. I believe most of the Roy Thomas Baker stuff is out there.

I believe he is no longer with us. May he rest in peace.

I can't remember his name, but also the member here who posted some Soul Monster lyrics. They say the stars don't look the same, I may have changed, yet I have my soul to claim. (Something like that)

There was also the member who shared some of the lyrics from sorry before it was released or anyone outside GnR had heard of it

  6. If GNR own their masters there was no reason for them to be stored at universal, Metallica bought back their masters in 2012.

I’d suggest Axl/GnR probably purchased them back many years ago or always owned them to begin with.

Also I remember reading an interview with slash a long time ago where he said that recording all of the concerts was at the bands expense, not the label, so all of that live stuff is probably in Axls basement.
