Well I guess that's one way of looking at it. For me if I saw "Perhaps official release 📅 available in-store jbhifi" and I turned up to the shop and it wasn't there I'd be disappointed a little. When I see just a shipping date I have no expectations of seeing it even close to that date. That's just me. If I look at it as a promise then I'm inevitably setting myself up for a negative emotional reaction. I won't preach about how people should live their lives, just voicing an alternative way that works well for me.

Just got an email from universal saying that the release date of the magic 8 ball has been pushed back to December 1st. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer to ask it if GNR plans have changed.

Yeah well I'd say the booklet was the only thing I wasn't thrilled about. I was excited to find the album in an independent record store a couple of days early, call a friend for him to ditch work and grab beer. Cover back n front, loved in my hands. Then opened the booklet to something I built up in my head to be better. No pun intended there. Album has been out for ages so I think we can say "better" in regular context now.
