  1. Yeah, seems he doesn’t want to talk about GNR like any of the old NuGNR members, but that’s what a lot of people would care about Grilling him on the subject would have only made him think you were a knob. I think you did fine
  2. I did like Loki, Spider-Man 3, first half of Wandavision, and Guardians 3, but the rest is meh at best
  3. It all had to come tumbling down, eventually. The fact that they made it through Endgame with such success was a miracle in itself
  4. I'm getting fired up. I wasn't planning on seeing this tour at all and now I'll end up with 2 shows (that's the plan, at least). Even if they aren't at 2016 levels, I still really enjoyed this year's Boston show. This will be my 10th Guns N' Roses show. Pretty cool it will be seeing them in their home turf in Hollywood. Going with my Aunt who is a fan and my fiancé who is not. She's seen Axl/DC and Slash with me, but not GNR. I guess she should see them at least once with me This should be a great little trip for me. My Aunt is a big music fan. She loved Weiland and Velvet Revolver and actually took me to meet Scott at his book signing out there last time I was in LA to visit her in 2011. Now she owns a brewery with her husband so I am excited to see it, hang with them and my cousins, explore LA a bit, and see my 10th Guns show. The General is my big hope. Would also go nuts for TWAT and Locomotive. I think I have a good shot for one of those
  5. That is the hotel I would have suggested but what cemented it for me was at the show he got the town the show was in mixed up with the town that hotel is in. I LOVED The Palace, I am so sad its gone. It was an incredible venue that still felt brand new. So many good memories, there.... What a waste
  6. Sorry the show was a drag, but your recap made me laugh. He just can’t help himself. When he finally put out a concert movie for The Wall, a third of it was him traveling to visit his dads grave- whom I don’t think he’d ever even met! Who would possibly be interested in that sub plot?!
  7. I’m sure it’ll be fine lol. I’m staying in Thousand Oaks, anyways. Might hit up Santa Monica and The Magic Castle while I’m there, idk. It’ll be a quick, 2.5 day trip
  8. No idea, it’s great though. Haven’t been to LA since 2011
  9. Awesome! I’d like to go to both shows but my fiancé is coming so I’ll stick with just night 2. Flights were super cheap, I’m excited
  10. Things really are in a no- win with the middle east. Radicalized people there are not compatible with acceptable western or even living standards. The way governments in nations like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, etc. run their countries still vary greatly, but all have a degree of barbarity. At the same time, saying everyone should just be leveled into a parking lot isn't really an acceptable solution, either. There are still millions of people who still just want their basic needs met and safety for their families. I am half Iranian- American, and I am admittedly not very in- touch with my roots, but it sucks to see so many people in Iran get abused by their abusive government. It is also very true that the United States and west as a whole has done a lot to perpetuate and worsen the conditions in a lot of these nations, but that does not change the fact that the world is where it is at today. After how sickening the past few days have been, it is easy to get wrapped up in emotions and say the IDF should just level all of Gaza, but these are not sports teams we are talking about, there are thousands of people who have and who are about to be horribly injured and killed. Not all of them deserve that, and it is a humanitarian catastrophe, but I do not blame Israel for a swift and powerful retaliation. I have also been to Israel. I mainly spent time in Haifa, but also saw Acre, Jerusalem, and the Dead Sea. It was a very cool place to see and it is very unfortunate it cannot be a peaceful place
  11. They finally just released a bunch of Nightrain fanclub tickets! Got the ones I wanted with ease! Pretty affordable, actually. Less than 100 bucks to see GNR in a legendary venue in Hollywood. I got a center view, too. $69- $300 before fees and not counting ridiculous inflated tickets with stupid packages (those go to $2000+)
  12. Bummer, my only American Express card is a work card
  13. Nightrain is a joke. Only 300-dollar tickets. Meanwhile, you can get 69-dollar tickets with the American Express sale
  14. Ill post the prices, but I think all concert tickets fluctuate now
  15. It is great Brian got to finish out with the band. If this was the last AC/DC show, it was a good one symbolically.
  16. I loved the first season of Only Murders. Martin Short and Steve Martin are always great. It kind of lost it with the follow up seasons imo. Season 2 was decent but had a convoluted and stupid ending. Season 3 had too many new characters and now its just ridiculous so many are dying around them.
  17. I was there with @Powerage5 and that was a great fucking show. We got upgraded to the lower bowl for free and met the band after. One of my favorite memories
  18. It’s a no win situation. Israel has definitely abused Palestinians, and “Palestine” is basically a terrorist state at this point. Israel can’t just open the borders, and “Palestine” refuses a two state solution (which was probably never viable, anyways) After the disgusting and shocking events conducted by terrorists this past week, Israel will no doubt go scorched earth. Even more than what we are seeing now. Sadly, many more innocent people will surely die, hopefully a lot of terrorists and dangerous people will be destroyed with them
  19. Insufferable- Roger Waters ‘spent 30 minutes reading from unpublished memoir’ during ‘awkward’ London Palladium show | The Independent
  20. Roger is a fucking idiot. He was an amazing artist, no doubt, and responsible for some of my favorite music, but a complete megalomaniac. He does not know when to shut the fuck up, and contrary to what people think, that can be a very admirable trait. I can't imagine what it must have been like to try and be a creative partner with him. Poor Nick and Rick and even David. His misguided views aside, what really opened my eyes to his narcissism was him continuing to sling words at fucking Rick Wright in 2023- 15 years after the man died! I am shocked he has been able to keep his mouth shut after the past few days' events in Israel. Yes, I understand you can sympathize with innocent Palestinians while also not being antisemitic, but with all the smoke and fire, and his twisted views on the Russia- Ukraine situation, and his staunch anti- West sentiment when he himself has become a multi- millionare because of the West, I think he can go fuck off to the bar, himself. I will say, him half- miming to The Wall in 2010 is one of the best arena shows I have ever seen.
  21. I'm not from California and have never been to the Hollywood Bowl, Im just reading about capacity on the internet
  22. Capacity is huge for the venue, with 2 shows this is more like a stadium crowd
