It's not the best song on AFD, but it often gets treated like the worst. I don't get it. It's got a bit of a cheesy Heart vibe that the other songs don't have (save for My Michelle), but it's much better than Anything Goes, My Michelle and Out ta Get Me.

MSL, I think you are overstating the whole 'Slash and Duff' as replacement members angle. Wer'e not talking about Paul Huge here. Slash & Duff basically replaced nobodies. Took that 'band' that you refer to to new and dizzying heights and conquered the world with the aid of their individual and collective talent and charisma. So take your hand off it and talk sensible if you wish to earn back any respect around here.

Am I that young? I wish ! The first time I saw Guns N Roses live was over twenty years ago - so no, I'm not that young. I just honestly cant think of too many singers that had Axl's kind of rasp. I still dont think that many singers people have posted here as examples actually have a raspy singing voice. They are just unique or low. Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell have cool low tones for example - but not raspy.

Queens of the Stone age are very good in my opinion. Going to see them in a few months here in Brisbane with N.I.N.

I had hoped that the introduction of games such as Guitar Hero would spawn a new generation of rock - loving kids, but I don't think it has.

There needs to be a new band that are born out of the gutter. Someone real and troubled and desperate. Much like GnR and the Seattle Bands.

This leaking business doesn't hurt sales. Axl doing no promotion is the most damaging to sales. Axl releasing new music every couple of decades hurts sales.

The whole importance of leaks is tremendously overstated. It's cool for the GnR fanatics to hear leaks but thats about it...

Axl & Slash together would be the two necessary ingredients as far as the general public go. Adding Duff would be nice also, but Really just having Slash back would be good enough for me to be happy.

Killer setlists ! I'd maybe also include Double Talkin Jive (Love that outro), and maybe a few from AFD like Its so Easy, Nightrain and Rocket Queen for the finale. I'm sure some of those could have been adapted a little to perform accoustically. Axl's voice would have been awesome and right out front to be heard loud & clear!
