I heard a rumour that the last song in the encore is gonna be Shadow of Your Love and Mr Stradlin is going to be on-stage guest !

Great footage of New GnR - Thanks Argentina Roses - hadn't seen that before I gotta say I prefer the 2010 version. The band looked like they were having a great time playing it. Axl's voice was fuckin' superb! Nothing wrong with the older version though.

Nevermind Young Gun - Coming from a typical red-blooded Aussie Bloke I've looked at TWAT many times and still don't know where to start. Just don't give up trying dude

That wanker Mick Wall is at it again.
I was at work flicking through a recent local magazine called Style ( Here in south of Brisbane, Australia) which describes itself as a 'Prestige Lifestyle magazine', when I came across an article entitled "rocking on" with a picture of Mick Wall. Anyway, the article is to promote his latest book - Appetite for Destruction: Legendary Encounters with Mick Wall - Yep, thats right - real fuckin' original that one Mick...
In the article he talks about his journalist days and associating with the big names of Rock. Of course it doesnt take long before he is mentioning Axl. Anyway, this is a part of what he is quoted as saying -
"I'd kind of outgrown the idea of humouring guys like Axl" ."Instead of managing the situation and holding his hand and smoothing it over, I just totally told him to fuck off".
He later goes on to add - "If I had anything to say about him at this point it would be that I genuinely feel for him now... When you're in your late 40s you do have to come to terms with the fact that you're not 25 anymore."
And a bit later his parting shot at Axl is - "But here he is, this poor, deluded guy with his hair extensions and his lipo and Botox and endless servants".
Will this guy ever stop shamelessly using Axl to make a buck ???

Cool story Rick... I was at Soundwave festival here in Brisbane, Australia, last month and Anthrax roadies were setting up their gear on stage. They were taking a while and running a bit late. There was music played on the PA system to fill in between bands. Music from artists such as Motley Crue, Hendrix, Deep Purple etc... and the crowd of a few thousand were relatively quiet until 'Mr Brownstone' came on and it lit the place up! People were singing it and really into it. I stood there thinking - Fuck I wish I was waiting for Guns to come on stage now and not Anthrax...

oooooh HELLO BETA!!
Hello
Hello Beta ! Is this like the real Beta ??? If so, I met your daughter last year in August up in Malibu. I was visiting from Australia with my wife and two children and had a chance encounter with her. She was an angel. Very friendly and an absolutely beautiful young woman. Axl's lucky to have some lovely family around him. Say hello to Vanessa for me Regards, Scott.

I would be willing to part with a testicle to see GN'R in a small NYC venue again.
[/quot
Mate I would give my middle testicle to attend one of those smaller gigs with Guns... ! But seriosly, I would sell my first-born son to fly to NYC from Australia to see this. Thats it! Anyone want to buy a five year old boy? Maybe I'll stick him on ebay ? Madonna ? Are you in the hunt for another kid ??? Brad and Angelina ??? ( He's white, so I guess that would go against him... ).

Thanks everyone for your updates and keeping us poor fuckers on the other side of the world in the loop.
Cheers, Scott.
P.S - I also can't see the sense of whinging about late starts. You know the deal when you go to a Guns gig. If Axl considers himself at his peak at that time of the night, then so be it.
I would go see Axl and Guns at the drop of a hat, no matter what time of the day, or night, it was. I've been a huge GnR fan since the mid-late eighties - thats like over twenty years and I have only seen them live twice (93 and 07). So if they are in your neck of the woods and your a big fan then go see them play, and shut the fuck up about the start time if it is past your bedtime...

Thanks to all the people that post their personal reviews of the show. Its great hearing your stories and allows peole like me who are 10 000 miles away to get a feel for how its all going. Cheers, Scott.

Aww shit Gunsguy, why not? Did I mention that as well as the Roos' fetching your beer the koalas massage your feet and the kookaburras sing to you covers of AFD songs...
And I don't want to hear any shit about - " I just need to find the money". Fuck , i'd be selling a kidney on ebay if Guns were coming to my country and I needed to find the money.

Hey all you Canadian dudes.
I was just kinda wondering if any of you would like to do a house swap and come visit the magnificent land of Australia. I could stay at your place and you could stay at mine. I live close to the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland. It has some of the best beaches in the world - just think of blue skies, warm weather, white sand, and beautiful bronzed Aussie Sheila's running around topless (They love your Canadian accents by the way!).
All the while you relax and have a drink on the beach with koalas and kangaroos (They are trained to fetch beer - thats why they have the pouch at the front). This house swap could occur say, i don't know, maybe january ? What do you think ? Anyone? B)
Cheers, Scott.
What happened to DJ?

Be nice to DJ, and be thankful he's been so transparent and accessible to GnR fans since joining the band !
