Everyone except Dave was in rehab and if I remember correctly some dates were also cancelled cause of Matt Sorum. So let's be fair here, it's not just Scott's fault.

Hey I've got nothing against Townsville - I've actually never been there. I recently went to Cairns for a work conference and that and Port Douglas were really nice. I just am a bit unsure whether Guns could attract a big crowd there ? I hope they do and I'm sure the Guns boys will enjoy the Great Barrier Reef

I am allready going to fly to Sydney to see them and will look at flying to Adelaide and Townsville too. I am seeing Metallica in Brisbane and flying to Melbourne to see them too, so I'm gonna have to sell my kidney on organ-bay or something to raise the cash !

I heard on triple m radio this afternoon while driving my car that GnR have confirmed their Aussie dates and that Brisbane and Melbourne have missed out Strange decision as they could easily sell out a few shows in each of these major cities. Lets hope this is untrue and more shows are announced.

Hey, I'm flying down from Brisbane too. Have any of you Sydney Natives got any advice about where to stay thats close to the venue, in a half-decent location ???

Awesome - Got my tickets ! I begged my wife to get on the internet this morning while I was at work. Anyway, she did well and now I don't have to call a divorce lawyer.

I just got the GA tickets, hopefully with this I can get up close to the stage.

When I saw them way back in 1993 at Eastern Creek raceway in Sydney, my mates and I just wandered down to have a look at the front of the stage early in the day. We walked through these gates of a fenced off area and security slapped bands on our wrists. Without knowing what we were doing we ended up in the small area at the front of the stage. Got to the venue early in Brisbane 07' too, so thats the key to getting up close to the stage if thats what you want.

Watching that Rockquiz episode I think he is half taking the piss with that comment. Besides that's what half the show is really about - just cracking jokes.

Yeah I saw the show on tv last night, and I knid of thought he was just being sarcastic and trying to be funny. Unfortunately though, in the world of Axl-haters that sort of comment really doesnt need to be said. Some people may not get the joke and think yep, that bloody Axl Rose ! Anyway, I made the 14 hour bus trip from Brisbane to Sydney in january 1993 to see Guns at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney, and it was awesome. Front row up against the stage with a crowd of about 50 000 people. So I will do my best to attend this one too

Even if its one show (which i doubt it will be) im gonna try my darnest to get a ticket... so long as some douchebag doesnt decide to throw a cup of water at Axl like the last concert i went to (Brisbane '07)... Fuckhead almost ruined it for us all

im going to try and make it to as many shows in Aus as possible if they do tour this year. Money is an issue for me but ill have to wheel and deal it to make it work.

I haven't seen anything in The Courier Mail here in Brisbane about GnR shows. Fingers crossed they do a full scale tour like 2007. They were awesome, and I'm sure would be even better this time.

I was wondering earlier this year how the global financial crisis was affecting their touring. Just how the Aussie dollar soared to get up there about equal with the US dollar and if that would be good or bad from GnR's perspective to come to Australia ??? Anyway, the aussie dollar has come back down so who knows...

If they only come to do one show in Sydney well I will just have to be there, I mean I should be able to afford it , but even if I couldnt I would walk from Brisbane to Sydney to be there If money is tight then start saving now, because it could be a while before they come to Australia again.
