My birthday is next week. One or both songs would be a nice present!

There was a post years ago on the Steve Hoffman forums by someone who apparently was connected in the industry and had heard some unreleased songs, including “Cuban Skies.” I can’t remember if that was before or after the locker leak, though.

I’m really convinced that they’re just trolling us at this point. I have no other explanation.

I was on the floor at the 2017 show, and the sound seemed alright to me, but I had a terrible view of the stage (I’m short, so unless I’m down front on the floor, it’s a waste), and I saw them in Baltimore in 2021 instead. I’ll be up in the rafters this time, so I’ll just be happy to be able to see everything.

Perhaps and the General are both on the setlist.

Slash said 4-6 new songs, right? Absurd Hardschool The General Perhaps Atlas Shrugged State of Grace Obviously, I/we would like more than that (Oklahoma, Zodiac, Soul Monster), but if those are the 6 that they go with, it’s hard to say that it’s not a solid release.

Slash’s birthday is July 23.

Um….came across this on Reddit. it’s on the setlist…..

…..ABSURD!

The pacing of the set is much better, and the Easy —> Obsession —> CD start allows Axl to warm his vocals up without requiring a whole lot of rasp. He still has it in spurts, so it seems like he’s picking and choosing his spots when he needs to use it, and he sounds better for it. And, knowing that we still have Perhaps, Bad Apples, and Locomotive to look forward to is just the icing on the cake. Gotta give the guys credit - they clearly took the fans’ feedback to heart this time around.
