  1. This was the full story. The thing is that the setlist was real. The photo was taken by a journalist that had backstage access at the Abu Dhabi gig.
  2. Well, he is the same that at last show said “there was a video on the screens he had never seen before” and it turned out to be the Absurd video. Not a problem with him, though. I mean he could just be wrong again.
  3. It's also good to know that they are well aware that most of the reviews were positive (which makes the tweet thing even more ridiculous).
  4. Also it seems that Axl has returned to using caps, hats and now bandanas again. All new fn show!
  5. I just saw that story, and Axl looks dressed as if he’s going to guest in a song. Maybe it’s just a hunch
  6. Yeah I was going to post it yesterday but I thought it was too controversial I think SCOM yesterday was one of the best moments in all of the band’s history. Even if the performance itself was pretty bad.
  7. Did anyone record the BBC Radio 6 stream? The audio quality was infinitely better.
  8. There’s already a 4K version of Don’t Cry from last year’s Rock in Rio show.
  9. You should have seen the thread for the Troubadour gig in 2016, and the night before when nothing was announced yet. The best experience I had on this forum, by far.
  10. They opened with It's So Easy, as expected https://www.instagram.com/stories/bastidores_gunsnroses/3121567610575244760/
  11. I may move on from this band and finally rest in peace...
  12. Some news regarding this: the setlist is real. The General is officially part of the setlist. The photos that can be seen in my quoted post are part of an album that was uploaded to Facebook by Blabbermouth (or the author of the article), as part of this article: https://blabbermouth.net/news/guns-n-roses-bring-out-rarities-at-2023-tour-launch-in-abu-dhabi Unfortunately, it seems like Team Brazil has contacted them and the Facebook post is now deleted (as it can be seen in the article). So the pictures are all gone. However, this morning I googled the article, and in images there is still a cached (but pixelated) image of the setlist. It can still be accessed from here: https://www.google.com/search?q=GUNS+N'+ROSES+Bring+Out+Rarities+At+2023+Tour+Launch+In+Abu+Dhabi&sxsrf=APwXEdchx9549wxY2VsavnUeLJ0E-cL7EA:1686067635952&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjrgYi0g6__AhX4rZUCHb_3ALsQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1920&bih=961&dpr=1#imgrc=X2c_oC_MbGYibM This confirms that the setlist is legit, that at some point it was part of the article (the photos were taken BY the journalist who covered the show), and that The General is on the other page of the setlist. The General and Perhaps are the two known songs that Gn'R are set to debut live and release officially. Huge news
  13. Yes, he did destroy his voice with AC/DC. The famous “voice cracks” started during the NA shows, and you can literally hear them. The very very high parts he was going with rasp, such as Hells Bells or Shoot to Thrill. You can go and watch the videos, it’s all there. This same songs, during the Europe run (that came first), didn’t have any voice cracks. It was literally the first time we ever heard Axl’s voice crack and it’s all in video, after that everything went downhill. I do agree with your post, though. But I don’t agree that the shows with AC/DC “didn’t damage his voice”. It’s where all started! It definitely deteriorated his voice faster than If he hadn’t played those shows. Ultimately, the rest between SA 2016 and Asia 2017 is what killed his voice for good, IMO. Those shows were absolutely horrendous, and he clearly didn’t sign or even prepare during those months.
  14. Without the context of the photo, it's OK to doubt it. But it's 100% legit (+ most of the songs DID end up being played tonight) This is the photo that must be looked at:
