  1. I know right? Slash has been doing SMKC since I was 16 and I just turned 30. It's so fresh and unusual for me to hear him doing something else lol, he's been doing the same thing literally half my life, I was hoping he was going to do something other than SMKC eventually, so finally we have arrived.
  2. It's pretty rare, but he did go to that lower register from time to time. Here's one of the few examples where he does it in the intro:
  3. You should add (feat. Steven Tyler) onto the title, I mean come on, he's a giant of rockPretty cool to have 2 legends like that on the same track. ACDC and Aerosmith were like my 2 favourite bands growing up, so this is wild to me. I'll listen tomorrow when it's out here
  4. My guess is it's a new instrumental because it doesn't have anyone featured on the tracklist as singer
  5. Axl is on it because it's probably the Blues Jam known as "Bon Jovi Can Suck My Dick Rant" from 1987 under a proper song title, so Slash doesn't get sued by Jon
  6. Don't give up yet, after Steven Tyler on Harmonica maybe under the credits of the next single we'll see Piano: Axl Rose
  7. This is gonna hit the ACDC forums like a bomb lol they totally don't expect to wake up to a new Brian vocal to listen to tommorow
  8. I hope @Rovimis happy that there seems to be atleast 1 "new" song at the endI would say chances are it's the 1 lone instrumental on the album
  9. This is some VOODOO shit, with my joke list I got Track 2 AND Track 3 correct, in not only the songs, but also the actual album order. WTF
  10. An album with songs with Brian, Steven Tyler and Axl on it would really be incredible. Then also have artists that crossover like Demi Lovato, would be a pretty great move to make to gain more traction for the album. Hopefully we'll find out tommorow. I really don't care who wrote the songs, that's one way to ruin the enjoyment of your ears by interference from your brain. The real exciting part is who sings and performs on it, not who came up with it, literally couldn't care less lol. I listen to music because it's audio-electricity, and any Slash album always delivers that.
  11. I couldn't care less who wrote what, I want to see who played and sings on the songs, goddamn it. The ACDC connection is exciting, must be either Angus or Brian then, or a cover of The Jack or Ride On which would be cool too. Imagine Axl and Angus on the same track.
  12. Not really following your logic here, Lady Gaga sang on a blues song on Rolling Stones new album aswell, what does it matter..?
  13. The tracklist just leaked, and apparently it's all new songs: 1. Dead Under A Bad Sign (feat. Corey Taylor) 3:59 2. Straightroads (feat. Eric Clapton) 4:21 3. I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Woman (feat. Taylor Swift) 6:49 4. Don't Bring It On Home (feat. Robert Plant) 5:15 5. Not Superstitious (At All) (feat. Stevie Wonder) 2:30 6. Fuck #49 (feat. Joe Walsh) 3:26 7. Magic Carpet Hike (feat. Steven Tyler) 3:12 8. Voodoo Child (Immense Return) (feat. C.C. Deville) 4:36 9. Day Prowler (feat. Angus Young) 5:20 10. Bon Jovi Can Suck My D*ck (Live) (feat. Axl Rose) 2:20 (Previously Unreleased) (Bonus Track)
  14. Can you imagine if the whole album is just songs like Ain't Life Grand, the title track? That would be an actual dream come true for me, I always loved that song. If that really happens this will probably skyrocket to my favourite Slash project ever.
  15. He used to do lead vocals also, and they were pretty great. I recall him doing Neither Can I. Slash has a couple badass blues songs under his belt, that one aswell as Ain't Life Grand. I will be stoked as hell if the whole album is just songs like those 2.
  16. He was in Slashs band in the late 90s, seems appropriate. Wonder if they picked a song they used to do back then (or even better, a new original)
  17. Same with the 1991 Rio version it's fantastic, actually like that better than the studio version
  18. It's strange he's playing it with a Les Paul if he does remember. He always changes to the type of guitar he recorded the songs with, like on YCBM for example, where he changes also.
  19. Bad Apples holy shit they really played it. Been waiting for GNR to play this forever but this is the next best thing better than never hearing it in any capacity live. I wonder if Slash remembers he recorded Bad Apples with a strat, that was the first thing I noticed when watching that performance, he probably does not remember much of 1991 lol.
  20. Yeah Aerosmiths label blocked it at the time, maybe it is that song that was shelved back in 2010. Seems that they might have got it figured out this time, now that we have pics of Steven and Slash in a studio together.
  21. How is it a no brainer, Brain is every bit as good as Fitz and has also already played with the band before.
  22. I don't think you understood my question, instead of answering me you just made an identical post as your earlier one, just with different words. I could literally copy paste my question to your reply again
