  1. I couldn't care less who wrote what, I want to see who played and sings on the songs, goddamn it. The ACDC connection is exciting, must be either Angus or Brian then, or a cover of The Jack or Ride On which would be cool too. Imagine Axl and Angus on the same track.
  2. Not really following your logic here, Lady Gaga sang on a blues song on Rolling Stones new album aswell, what does it matter..?
  3. The tracklist just leaked, and apparently it's all new songs: 1. Dead Under A Bad Sign (feat. Corey Taylor) 3:59 2. Straightroads (feat. Eric Clapton) 4:21 3. I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Woman (feat. Taylor Swift) 6:49 4. Don't Bring It On Home (feat. Robert Plant) 5:15 5. Not Superstitious (At All) (feat. Stevie Wonder) 2:30 6. Fuck #49 (feat. Joe Walsh) 3:26 7. Magic Carpet Hike (feat. Steven Tyler) 3:12 8. Voodoo Child (Immense Return) (feat. C.C. Deville) 4:36 9. Day Prowler (feat. Angus Young) 5:20 10. Bon Jovi Can Suck My D*ck (Live) (feat. Axl Rose) 2:20 (Previously Unreleased) (Bonus Track)
  4. Can you imagine if the whole album is just songs like Ain't Life Grand, the title track? That would be an actual dream come true for me, I always loved that song. If that really happens this will probably skyrocket to my favourite Slash project ever.
  5. He used to do lead vocals also, and they were pretty great. I recall him doing Neither Can I. Slash has a couple badass blues songs under his belt, that one aswell as Ain't Life Grand. I will be stoked as hell if the whole album is just songs like those 2.
  6. He was in Slashs band in the late 90s, seems appropriate. Wonder if they picked a song they used to do back then (or even better, a new original)
  7. Same with the 1991 Rio version it's fantastic, actually like that better than the studio version
  8. It's strange he's playing it with a Les Paul if he does remember. He always changes to the type of guitar he recorded the songs with, like on YCBM for example, where he changes also.
  9. Bad Apples holy shit they really played it. Been waiting for GNR to play this forever but this is the next best thing better than never hearing it in any capacity live. I wonder if Slash remembers he recorded Bad Apples with a strat, that was the first thing I noticed when watching that performance, he probably does not remember much of 1991 lol.
  10. Yeah Aerosmiths label blocked it at the time, maybe it is that song that was shelved back in 2010. Seems that they might have got it figured out this time, now that we have pics of Steven and Slash in a studio together.
  11. How is it a no brainer, Brain is every bit as good as Fitz and has also already played with the band before.
  12. I don't think you understood my question, instead of answering me you just made an identical post as your earlier one, just with different words. I could literally copy paste my question to your reply again
  13. That's stupid - the only other alternative is you seeing him ruin the same old shit. So you like that better then? Because it has to be one or the other.
  14. Maybe he will use it as a tutorial to sing it during the next GNR tour No joke I think it would go over well it's mostly in his lower voice which still sounds every bit as good as it ever did. It's clearly not at all impossible to sing as we have just seen. If he figures it out this would probably be the best addition to the setlist since Coma in 2016. Unexpected, not done at all before, and just a great present for the fans, this is one of GNRs most AFD-sounding and AFD-quality rockers, it's too bad it never got it's due live. This and Breakdown are the last 2 "big" songs of the deep cuts left that they could still pull out as a new addition to the set.
  15. Slash could "lure" Axl in to record by having Dave Grohl play drums on the track or something lolI'm not in the -Axl is unlikely to be on the album- group, I definitely think the chance is much higher than people think, 50/50 to me. Also didn't GNR cover Parisienne Walkways back in the club days? I somehow recall that being thrown around in this forum somewhere, maybe it was just a rumour.
  16. My guess is if Axl is on it at all then in my estimation it would 99% be a cover, like Wichita, Walk All Over You or some other song he loves. Can't see him really being excited recording vocals for a new Slash solo song.
  17. He didn't for many GNR songs, I doubt he has any more motivation to do so for his little solo shows lol. You can only make a multi millionaire "work" so muchTbh if I was THAT rich and in my late 50s, I'd phone it in too, it doesn't really matter, it really doesn't make a difference to ticket sales anyway
  18. Well to be fair Myles said fuck this shit too, since Slashs bass player sings it lol. But yeah that seems to be an excuse, seeing as GNR even played Garden Of Eden live which has even MORE words and tempo.
  19. That's an awesome show setlist, really filled with Slashs deep cuts for hardcore fans who know the catalogue. We Will Roam was last played when I was still in Highschool 11 years ago damn.
  20. So dumb to drop a video for a song you released over a month later instead of on release. GNR timeline I guess, this is not a professional organisation, this is fucking mayhem lol
