My guess is that the week will come and go and no announcement will happen period.

It’s a great setlist all things considered. I think fans around the world at least should get to hear it once. All I wish is these fuckers added Perhaps to it lol

I would say Fortus’s comment pretty much means we’re not getting new music this year.

The set is good. It’s predictable again but it’s only fair everyone gets to hear the deep cuts. I’m just irritated that they’re soundchecking a new song but oddly not playing it, that’s my only complaint right now.

The attached pic was posted to some news website. You can see “The General” faded on the top of the page. TB sent a cease and desist to that news website. The photo source from what I know is determined to be credible and not a fake.

I think it’s real, but I don’t buy into the idea someone got fired for it. Being fired over posting a piece of paper which you could barely see the back side shining through is pretty cruel. Unless GNR just has a broad “don’t post the setlist pics” in general rule, which could explain why we rarely see them anymore whereas from the 2021 and earlier shows we saw them every show.

The General pic is real. Why otherwise would TB send a cease and desist for that?

Yeah at this point it’s either not happening, or US shows. I hate to being up this sad fact but it was about two years from the first Hard Skool soundcheck to when they actually played this. Sadly with this band we may be waiting for a long time.

The Breakdown rumblings started since we saw a behind the scenes interview with Slash and it had a setlist pic with it on there. The interview might’ve been filmed a while ago though.

This is exactly what I’d say happens. Then if they do a 2nd single it’ll be like 2 shows away from the end.

I love the more guitar driven nature of Perhaps in the verses. Gotta say though I think the solo is weak. I don’t really think Slash is giving it his all.

Insiders are saying that they were gonna play Perhaps, The General and Soul Monster all back to back tonight, but because Axl fell there will be no new songs.

Fernando is browsing the forums, seeing that fans are expecting new music, and is now trying to make it look like it’s going to be a really exciting show.

Anyone remember when Axl and Chris Pitman were in the studio together circa 2015? It all means nothing. Axl hates releasing new music and refuses to do it. Everyone around him will tinker with it, Slash will work on the re-recorded material until he’s blue in the face, he’ll always say “new songs are soon”, but it all doesn’t fucking matter in the end since Axl is insecure about his material and refuses to release it. You can say ‘21 was an exception but then Axl immediately went back to his old ways, with band members like Slash mirroring the Richard Fortus “new music soon” interviews as they embark on more nostalgia tours. I hope I’m wrong. But if I’ve learned anything “there’s smoke where there’s fire” simply does not apply to GNR. In fact, it usually means the opposite.

Gonna be funny when this band breaks up and this image is a symbol for why. Axl looks like he wants to die at the prospect of releasing new music, Slash looks like he’s more excited than ever.

I know has been said countless times, but it’s always relevant: With any, and I mean any other band in the world, all signs point to new music happening at this show. But with GNR, they never do anything that ever makes a lick of fucking sense, so im not getting my hopes up.
