Assuming Steven could play the full set, I’d go with him. Izzy would be great, but I’m really not a fan of how Frank plays drums so Steven to me is needed immediately to make nearly every song sound better.

Agree, and also it’s just incorrect. The solos on Chinese Democracy are very thought out and some of the best in Guns N’ Roses history. It feels like an attempt to kind of mitigate the fact that GNR still existed without him for a while.

I’m a constant complainer on this forum and even I can’t really say much negative. Axl obviously isn’t near his prime anymore but is doing what he can, lots of deep cuts, shuffled setlist, and the potential of a new song this leg. I’m very happy to see all of it.

Just to add on to the legitimacy of this paper: Duff played "TV Eye" which seems to be listed as TV Eye / New Rose for the Duff Solo spot. No way in hell an insider or person faking it could've ever guessed that. As well as the deepcuts that were played. When, or if, Perhaps gets played, is the only question that remains.

I’m just glad anything new is on the radar. Might be a while before it’s played but seeing Perhaps in contention to be played gives me enough hope. Great show all in all.

I don't think it was a tease. They just take forever to play new songs, but it being on the radar at all is a sign of life.

The thing with the pic is that its in the mix of 6-7 other Instagram stories that just show the usual happenings of someone in that job, I doubt he would stage a pic in the middle of that.

That image seems to be legit, lots of people think so. Based off of our experience with HS it could not be played tonight, you never know with them when new song will actually drop, but its at least on our radar and is probably the next single.

Glad to see them changing things up. Hearing Perhaps would be really nice but not getting my hopes up. Either way a good show so far.

I am happy to see these deep cuts, but it really does bite to some extent that we’re still left in the dark without new music nearly 2 years after Slash said some more singles were coming. I’m grateful that we at least get anything to the setlist, it’s certainly better than nothing and I’m interested to see how they’ll sound, but fans wanting to hear some new tunes continue to be sad.

It’ll be the same show with Anything Goes and maybe Breakdown added 5 weeks in.

So 2040’s, 2050’s we’re thinking? With Axl’s release speed, living or not I could see that. I agree on Posthumous material. Don’t think we’re getting anything else. I’m judging this off of the delay of the Slash singles he mentioned in interviews multiple times that all led to nothing, and 2023 is looking fruitless as well. What the possible hell could be the hold up at this point of time? No, not really. Just lots of “we’re touring” “we’re considering x and y” talk, which all sounds like excuses to me whether or not new music was hinted at all
