Sure they get together on the rare special occasion but it’s not what it was in the 80s even 90s they have separate lives

True, but there are bands that sound the same/even better, example: Living Color, go check out their latest performances of "cult of personality" His vocals got better!
Yea and rob halford. No drink no drugs

^Then how do you explain old men belting out opera? It’s clear it can be done. The key is how you take care of and maintain/train your voice. And yes years of drinking/smoking will permanently effect your voice

I don't think Axl talks to any current or past member unless it is business/Guns related. Maybe the very occasional "Happy insert occasion" or "Congrats insert occasion" .
From the current band, I get the impression there are 3 camps.
1) Axl and Team Brazil
2) Slash/Duff
3) Richard, Frank, Melissa
This is just the general vibe that I get based off of social media, interviews, pictures etc
Thats not to say they don't occasionally talk or even hangout for a bit on tour.
2) Slash-Meegan & Bodyguard
3) Duff-Susan, Bodyguard

I don't find it particularly weird. Gilby said that his meeting with Axl in 2000 was very friendly and that he talked to Dizzy often. I can imagine Axl sending messages to Gilby through Dizzy to say hi or, for example, to complain about something Gilby said in the press. Although Axl hasn't talked about it in public, from what I've gathered he has his own version about what happened with Gilby in the 90s, which is different than what we've known from Slash (and Gilby himself at times).
Yea could be as simple as Dizzy telling Axl he’s headed to see Gilby or to hang out and Axl saying tell Gilby I said hi

Gotta feeling they debut Hardschool in AC

You could wait until the day of the show and im sure you can get some outside the Stadium for decent prices.
I’m gonna try the same for the Baltimore show. Just don’t know if I should wait til the day of show or not. Hopefully they have $59 pit tix or something around that price like some of the other shows like Detroit

I wanna say Bucket will never associate himself with gnr again but stranger things have happened.
would love to see him on Twat & an extended Nightrain

Axl doesn’t even hang with the current band outside of team Brazil nevermind old members lol
Maybe Brain talks to Team Brazil but that’s it.

nothing changed again, concert was 3 minutes late.
Yea it so fuckin stupid but what isn’t stupid in today’s world
13 minutes ago, jamillos said:Imagine this applying 30 years ago. Axl - notoriously late - would have ended up with unplugged shows in clubs only! Use Your Curfew Tour!
Sometimes I hate these times.
Ha this is the time I miss the old Axl. He would’ve probably killed someone that night

I just watched this. This is professionalism at its best! Great work by the band for still playing Paradise City even though the sound was turned off. It was cool by the fans to sing along. The organizers of the festival suck! People pay money to see GNR and other bands. To do this to paying customers isn't cool!
Top acts like gnr & foo fighters should boycott these asshole shows
14 minutes ago, MYWIFEMYLIFE said:That curfew was utter stupid. Crowd sang along and there was noise again. 3 minutes wouldnt kill anyone.
I always assumed curfew wasn’t about noise but union labor due overtime for venue employees no?
im assuming if there were any residences around the venue they’d be drunk on wine anyway

Frank-no pop in his wrist. No pop in his snare. Demoralizing

People keep saying his drumming is better this tour but I can’t hear it. It’s horrible.
When I hear this is always refer people to Brain clips if u want to hear what energetic gnr music played the right way. The difference in snare sound between Frank vs Brain, Adler & Sorum is night and day. Frank is as dull and boring as it gets. Sucks the energy right out of these classic songs. Such a let down

Hey @Fernando, simple yes or no question. Is there a new album coming, as opposed to Absurd just being a one-off standalone single? I want to know if I should care about what this band is doing at the moment.
Ha straight to the point I like it!

Not gonna say Rod Jackson is a better singer than Myles. It’s all subjective but Rod’s voice suited Slash’s grittiness much better IMO. Too bad he just couldn’t get clean. Insert Rod Jackson into The Conspirators year after year and no one would be missing gnr during their hiatus and down time

I love Myles with Alter Bridge with Slash he tries too hard to be a badass rocker with nonsense superficial lyrics. Albeit he has his good moments like Anastasia & Not for Me
-
Hardschool is a stupid name to begin with for a soundtrack song
-
I’d like it better if Rod Jackson did a duet with Axl & gnr
-
Axl and team Brazil gonna lose their shit with these gnr women one of these days

Anyone know if they were offering pit Tix for dirt cheap? Hoping that’s the case for Baltimore in 2 weeks
