  1. Ever heard of the ignore function? Your constant attempts to moderate people in the forum is beyond boring.
  2. I’m not sure how productive Alex Van Halen has been since his brothers death. There hasn’t even been any tribute concerts or public celebrations that I’m aware of. He and his team may not even notice the Spotify absence considering how little they receive in royalties anyway.
  3. Anyone here remember when Duff ir someone from his team went and retrieved the 96 Izzy demos from that storage facility that had the Velvet Revolver stage lighting? I think the two songs listed in the tapes were Toothsayer or Toothpuller and Machine Gun or something like that? I wonder if anything from those sessions makes a future album? I know, “future album lol”
  4. The only answer here is Ashba. Of those that didn’t contribute to any records, at least Melissa sings well backing up Axl. Ashba could barely play the guitar
  5. NuGuns was never going to be fully accepted as Guns N’ Roses. Sure, some folks will lap up anything Axl serves them, but the VMAs were a complete disaster and the band looked like a freak show! He should have gone with a new band name and just moved on.
  6. Exactly this. Why not a live album if they can find the right versions where Axl sounds ok? Just today I bought two Stones live LPs off Amazon’s prime day deals and I can’t wait to get them in my hands. Sure, they’ve been milking the live stuff for a while but everyone knows they’re actually working on a new album. Why can’t Guns function like a normal band…
  7. There are also the two full concert releases in the UYI box set that seem to be completely untouched by overdubs so that makes three live album releases. But I do agree that having a live album per tour would be awesome. They don’t have to be million sellers but the serious fans will always buy the vinyl and deluxe editions. The Rolling Stones and Maiden have been milking live albums for years and fans like me keep buying it. Why does this band not like releasing music?
  8. Just like CD could never live up to the hype of $10M and 10+ years being worked on.
  9. Why do you people keep reminding me of that night? My wife was like, wtf happened to Guns N’ Roses? Who are these people and why can’t Axl sing?
  10. If he bought the rights back, I wonder why he isn’t releasing them on his new album? Has this been confirmed? Going Down is a good song and should see a proper release.
  11. Haha, of course I’m only joking. Not that I wouldn’t mind a little smack Oakland was the best overall experience, as we got Metallica as well. But seeing the partial reunion in 2016 at AT&T (now Oracle) Park was like a dream. I never thought I’d see Slash and Axl on stage again after the whole Hall of Fame deal
  12. Ritz in 88 from MTV is my favorite that I did not attend. That really cemented Guns as my favorite band. Live in person, it has to be the Bridge School benefit with Axl in full Mickey mode 🤣
  13. Izzy’s solo stuff is far better IMO than anything the other AFD5 created on their own. VR’s first album is the only thing that comes close and of course Izzy was there for the early songwriting. I do really like 5 o’clock somewhere, Adler and both Walking Papers albums
  14. And the same two posters desperately trying to convince everyone that they are the authorities on GnR and anyone else’s opinions are garbage
