  1. I think that there probably were previous versions of the tracks that were longer, with a more epic feel. I like what has been done with them though. I'm not sure I like one more than the other, they both have parts that I like a lot.
  2. Gonna start work on my book. My nuanced prompting and grasp of the English language will allow me to write an epic original tale using chat gpt. This will be the same thing as me writing a book from scratch, of course!
  3. No, it literally doesn't, lol. AI can only reproduce what it is fed (often other people's art or copyrighted material), it does not create anything. Anyway, I'm not gonna go around in circles as it's becoming mind numbing.
  4. You do realise that AI doesn't create anything new, right? I feel you don't understand why artists have a problem with it and are just speaking about it like you do anyway.
  5. This still looks awful lol. Just pay artists to do stuff. No need for AI unless you just would rather not spend the money and don't care about quality.
  6. Use of AI is lame af. Coming from a company that apparently creates things. They'll be fine when they go out of business because nobody wants to pay them and uses AI instead, I guess! If GNR specifically asked them to use AI then that's just as bad and they are equally as lame for it.
  7. Yeah, seems someone listened to the song and wrote down what they heard, lol.
  8. I really didn't notice much difference when I listened to the vinyl. Exact same mix with the exact same problems.
  9. Yes and people complained about it just like people are complaining about it now with gnr.
  10. Yeah, I like the song a lot actually. The mixing and mastering is so bad that it was a bit of a smack in the face when I first heard it though. I guess it's just annoying to me that I know it could sound so much better and it was released like this.
  11. I want to hear the other CD material. I'm not overly interested in seeing what the band can do nowadays as I have my doubts it would be any good. Not that i'd complain if they did actually go in and do some new stuff, just saying my expectations would not be very high is all.
  12. You would be forgiven for thinking this considering how many on this forum have dedicated their week to complaining about it, but no.
  13. The released flac sounds cleaner purely due to it being a higher quality file. The mix is the exact same and just as awful, though.
  14. Yeah I agree that it shouldn't be re released. I think we can all agree that the staggered release thing has become very tiring.
  15. Yeah, honestly Axl could have went in and recorded vocals for anything at any time. Most annoying this is having literally no details about what was and wasn't recorded.
  16. The obvious answer would be Monsters next. Don't know what would go with it though. Atlas is the only one I can think of right now. Obviously there are other tracks that could have vocals that Slash and Duff could have worked on, so it's up in the air, really. I also think it's entirely possible that Oh My God gets re released, seeing as Axl was still working on it long after it came out.
  17. I very much doubt they were just randomly working on new material just before Perhaps was releasing. It was definitely Perhaps imo. Also Tom Mayhue clearly meant to say CD era stuff when he was talking about left over tracks so I don't really think that applies.
