He was moving around a lot (and running, doing dance moves, being expressive, etc.) at the European shows, too. Maybe he wasn't doing that too much during the first NA shows because he was not feeling well.

I understand the feeling, although not so much in relation to those pants. Maybe they did make him look like an aged, though still eccentric, rockstar (which he is), and I liked that. Many people are put off by the short hair for similar reasons. I was put off at first, too, mostly in combination with the shape he was in when he first cut it, but now I actually prefer it short, especially when it's a bit messy, compared to the messy longer hair from 2016-18. I think what made him look old the most (and not in a good way - he even looked older than his age) was the mustache and the overall look of that era (hats, layers, etc., and the jeans didn't really help). He looks more youthful now, silver pants or not

The glossy/shiny jackets don't match the sneakers (and now jeans) either, anyway. I don't get why people were so "offended" (I don't mean the word literally, obviously) by the silver pants (maybe it's just a dude thing? ) I thought they were fine - a bit eccentric, sure, but Axl has always sported eccentric outfits. They were also more flattering because they were looser. Axl's legs are thin and as a result the tight jeans make the upper part of his body (and especially the waist area where he's bigger) more prominent.

He changed them a couple of shows ago. I think looked better in the looser silver pants though than in the tight jeans.

I listened to most of Perhaps and I thought it sounded as good as last time, maybe even a little better.

It's not happening (the AFD reunion) in the foreseeable future. But who knows, it may happen at some point. I remember Axl was asked by a fan about it in 2017/18 and said "Anything is possible" or something like that.

I see that they're slamming Brian for his weight gain saying that it's going to affect his singing. Sounds familiar

Well, if the question is which title will get more attention (hence get more people click on it) based on who they'd like to see naked the most, then I think Slash works better than Duff, but the best option is Axl.

It depends on whether we're talking about popularity during their time or in later decades and currently. Also popularity varies in different parts of the world. I think that Zeppelin were more popular during their peak than GN'R were in theirs. And even at GN'R's prime, the '70s were not too far back in time, so Zeppelin's popularity and impact was still huge. But currently GN'R may be more popular and recognizable, because, even though they haven't released music, they've been active as a touring band. Also because their hits are closer in time - the 70s are now 50 years ago - and the odds of a kid knowing a GN'R song through their parents are bigger than knowing a Zeppelin song. The bigger picture, though, is that rock is not relevant anymore, so we're talking about popularity within an irrelevant genre.

Even if that's the case, in the way he's singing it now it doesn't sound like on the record anyway, so maybe the result would be better if he went an octave lower and use his natural voice. But, like I said, my knowledge is very limited. I'd like to hear more opinions from people who have a better understanding and knowledge of this stuff, e.g. people who sing themselves.

I'm not sure about that. Since he can sing the second half of Estranged in his speaking voice (like he did at one show - Lexington, iirc), I don't get why he couldn't sing the verses of Perhaps like that or like he sings Patience.

It's not that he can't sing it in his normal speaking voice (he obviously can). He has just chosen to sing it the way he does for incomprehensible - at least to us - reasons.

I know very little about singing techniques, but he could just sing all the verses in his normal speaking voice instead of switching on certain lines, couldn't he?
