  1. The DMCA notice for the fat picture meme was in 2016, so not too far back. He may brush it off, but I doubt he laughs it off in the case of memes, videos etc. that make fun of his appearance.
  2. I don't know Axl (obviously), but I doubt he would find this funny. He surely didn't find the memes with the "fat picture" funny.
  3. I don't think it's mean-spirited, from Josh Freese at least. He posts weird humorous stuff on his own IG all the time and has always had nice things to say about Axl, at least in public. I can't say that about MJ Keenan - like I said, he and Axl haven't liked each other, so maybe it is mean-spirited.
  4. He didn't (not live, at least). Tool played at Aftershock Festival that night. And GN'R are playing there tonight, so they are not meant to watch each other I just posted about this in another thread. There is a back story of animosity between them.
  5. Maynard James Keenan of Tool is mocking Axl on IG https://www.instagram.com/reel/CyJhSalpeGB/ There is a back story between them. They apparently didn't like each other and Axl reportedly blamed Keenan for Billy Howerdel leaving the CD project for A Perfect Circle.
  6. The second point stands (longer set). But as far as the first goes, with the exception of four three songs (two of which from the recent album), all the rest were in the set list on the tour with Axl, which is when they toured last time. Or Axl/DC doesn't count? Edit: I see now that it wasn't even longer than the Axl/DC shows (they played 23-25 songs then).
  7. (I have posted the picture of Slash with the Metallica guys a page back - all pictures taken by Ross Halfin)
  8. All that is a symptom - or maybe part of the cause, actually - of how irrelevant a genre rock has become. There are a lot of people willing to pay large amounts of money for concerts, who demand to hear only the songs they know. Maybe acts should change their M.O. They could play at big venues or festivals with 10-15 song sets and charge the same as they do now - the crowds that want to hear only the hits would pay anyway - and then play deep cuts heavy sets at smaller venues in the same cities.

  10. Axl looks great in these pictures, I have to say, especially in black pants-black shirt outfits.

  13. Brian sounded very rough on the opening song (If You Want Blood). He improved on the next 4-5 songs, but then he struggled a lot. He did the best he could, but it's hard to pull off a two-hour show, let alone a tour.

  15. I remember when they debuted that and I Got You (I Feel Good) in 2017 Axl mentioned that they had rehearsed them. I think Axl rehearsed it and worked with the band for the arrangement. He clearly loves it. It will be a real shame if they don't record a studio version. They have the arrangement ready, they could do it in one day.
  16. This is their main fan forum, but I see it's closed to non-members right now. https://www.acdcfans.net/ Live stream: https://www.facebook.com/FernsLife/videos/294638400116112
  17. It's a tough song to sing and she struggled a bit, especially in the bridge. It wasn't great, but she pulled it off. I thought the solo and the guitar playing in general was bad. The solo was whatever and didn't fit the song at all.
  18. It looks TB are still at Power Trip, so probably Axl is there, too. The rest of the band must have left.

  20. I get that many people don't like Wichita (it's a matter of preference), but, like I said, whether one likes it or not, they're doing a really good rendition of it and it currently sounds better than some of their own songs (I prefer hearing Wichita than Better, for example). The musical arrangement is great and Axl shines on it - I watched a video of it from one of the recent shows and it really gave me Salt of The Earth vibes.
