I guess my point is for a group of people that so desperately want validation and the ear of this band, ya'll act like total psychos and freaks with the obsessive behavior I described above.

These ChiDem leftovers were worked on in 2020. In 2021 we got two of them. In Jan '22 and in Oct '22 Slash told us more were coming. It's now approaching Aug '23 and still nothing. Before 2021 the last new release was 2008. There is no rhyme or reason to anything this band does or does not do. Trying to make sense of anything they do or dont do is complete madness and a waste of your own time and sanity. You're searching song titles in streaming apps over and over again, you're contemplating the frequency of appearances in soundchecks, you're scanning through publishing data codes .... And then to top it all off, you get upset or distraught as every Friday comes and goes without anything happening ....

What I'm saying is right now, there is no new album that could be released. So constantly thinking there could be a surprise drop is 100% impossible, because THERE IS NO NEW ALBUM for fucks sake

After Perhaps, it's more than likely going to be Atlas. After that is anybody's guess, IF and a big IF, we get anything else. If Slash is to be believed and is correct, we could possibly only see 2 more songs from the ChiDem leftovers come out, and we practically already know Perhaps will be one of those two.

Idk what's worse, thinking Carrie Underwood is going to relay any message to Axl from a social media comment or actually thinking Carrie Underwood herself liked it ....

That still doesn't explain why the ChiDem band through all its iterations from 2002-2014 didnt play OMG or Silkworms ONCE. I would just like to know why, but I know that question will never be answered.

I wonder why OMG was only played live before the '02 Tour ... That last performance at Rio was so killer ... So many mystery's during the ChiDem period that will never be answered

Timeless is subjective. When you listen to Appetite, it screams 80s. OMG sounding like it's from 1999 means nothing. If you like the song you like it regardless of how much it reminds you of a time. So many young people only listen to music that's from the past year or current year because of thinking like that. Once a few years has past those songs are relegated to the past. Shitty way to regard art.
