If Slash is to be believed, which at this point there is no reason to not believe him, what makes you think we will get more than what we were told we'll get? This all goes back to the Pele argument of we will only get what was already previously finished with vocals. Slash said 4-6 songs from unreleased ChiDem material. Pele claimed about that same amount as being all there were. You can keep doubting all you want, but until something else is said, 4-6 new ChiDem songs are all we are getting, and we already have two of them.

There is no official announcement. This is GnR. I'm referring to Slash's comments about the plan for new music. That's as official as you'll get with this group.

It just becomes more and more apparent the more you think about it, plus given the now announced plans for the unreleased ChiDem material .... That the 2008 album was a "best of" collection and the trilogy idea for reasons we may never know was completely scrapped. Say what you want about "plans before the reunion happened" but the fact that only 4-6 songs unreleased ChiDem songs were picked to be reworked and released I think makes it glaringly obvious that what we got in 2008 was going to be the last big release from this band.

No, my point is simply that people here shouldn't be all surprised or up in arms when there's a bad review .. Because most people don't think Axl sings good anymore. Only us crazies on this forum sit and analyze his every enunciation on every song and compare his voice to other years and even to other shows from the same tour

When are ya'll going to accept the fact that most people do not like how Axl sounds now ... They laugh at him just like they do at Vince Neil ... We are the only ones that will defend him ... 98% of people think he sounds like shit

The band does not care or pay any regard to anything that happens here lol ... Trust me ... Them not sound checking an unreleased and leaked song at a few shows has absolutely nothing to do with "attention" ... Don't ya'll get sick of hawkishly watching sound checks and searching for unreleased songs on streaming apps 1000s of times? We know they plan on releasing a few more ChiDem tracks ... It'll happen when it happens ...

No, I meant Atlas. My source is that we have a completed Atlas with vocals that leaked. Bumblefoot said they were going to have it on ChiDem until the last moment. It's obviously one of the very few songs that Slash & Duff reworked, because they only reworked songs that Axl actually recorded vocals for. I also do not believe The General was on a real set list. And I am 100% right, because it's exactly what Slash said. Hardschool and Absurd are two he acknowledged as already released, which he then said the plan is to release another one or two, and then another one or two. So we're getting 2-4 more ChiDem songs which makes a total of 4-6 altogether. Hardschool Absurd Perhaps Atlas ?? ?? ... Then starts the process of writing new music after the tour ends this year, which only a looney toon (pun intended) would believe is actually going to happen

All of those songs are not coming. Why are you ignoring what Slash said? He said they're releasing another one or two ... And then after that they'll do another one or two. We're getting 2-4 more songs from ChiDem ... We already know Perhaps and Atlas are among those two. That's leaves maybe two more ...

Yeah, and worse is they only decided to do 4-6 of those songs ... Couldn't even be assed to do a full 10-14 track album with all of those leftovers .... Why is "radio friendly" being discussed as a factor that matters whatsoever for what GnR decides to release next ..? Hardschool was as radio friendly as it gets and that didn't even last to the end of '21. That Linkin Park song Lost is still getting every day on multiple stations air play. Why is this delusion still so strong amongst this forum that GnR is going to become relevant to the music scene again? It's never happening. That ship sailed a long long time ago, before you ever heard the waves crashing on the beach at the end of Prostitute. Calculating in your head what song makes the most sense to release next in terms of radio friendliness is just as insane as thinking the version of Dub Suplex and Tonto with vocals are out there

If I recall, he described it as the angriest he's ever heard Axl, or something to that effect. He also spoke well of Sorry, which he happened to be on, but Sorry is a kick ass song. Just from the production alone, every track off of ChiDem can be considered epic. It is, quite literally, an epic album start to finish.

Those song titles are also only known because of the leaks ... Of which we've heard the full songs so there is no mystery, unless of course you're one of the crazies that think complete lyrics and recorded vocals for those tracks exists lol
