  1. I highly doubt it was rejected. I can't imagine a brand name as big as Axl Rose and Guns N' Roses would get denied any album they wanted to release, especially when all of the work was done and the costs had already been paid for. How much money has the reunion made for the label thus far? The reunion money has all been in touring.
  2. Bach was quoting Axl. And that wasn't the first time we heard of a trilogy. That plan as far back as the very beginning, in the late 90s, early 2000/2001 period, was a trilogy, per Axl himself. And way back then, the number of songs was even higher than 32, which the Village leaks adds evidence of the amount of material that was being worked on at that point. The 32 songs containing remixes wouldn't make sense if they were working on that many as far back as 2000. They wouldn't have been doing remixes to an album that wasn't released. If Axl told Bach the 3rd album would be out in 2012, then obviously 2010 makes the most sense as to when ChiDem 2 would have been released. It's technically all speculation, but we have evidence that makes it a step above pure speculation.
  3. What adds to the mystery too is that Axl (and GnR) were all over the news in 2014 right after the final NuGuns tour ended with ChiDem 2 and the remix album apparently in the pipelines ready to release. Then 2 guitarists and the bass player quit. So was that the catalyst that shelved (again) ChiDem 2 and directly led to the reunion? Slash and Duff then went through ChiDem 2 and picked the songs they liked and would be willing to work on, which is now what we're getting in piecemeal. So did Bumble, Ashba, and Stintson, by quitting the band, in effect, kill ChiDem 2?
  4. It's still a mystery to this day. And the 3rd album was not intended to be the remix album, because the remix album is, well, a remix album.
  5. Axl apparently wasn't singing until he started doing vocals for ChiDem in '98. IIRC GnR members confirmed he didn't sing a note on any of the material that was being worked on during those '95-'97 sessions.
  6. Just making fun .. I'm sure it's going be just as epic sounding as we believe it to be. Bach described it as the angriest he's ever heard Axl. I don't think he was exaggerating. The orchestral underlayer we've known for a while now is reason enough to believe this song will live up to its legend.
  7. Yeah, I mean, why would fans expect a new Estranged, it's not like Axl said the song was the "part 2" of Estranged or anything ... Oh wait ...
  8. Of course the day I leave for vacation Perhaps drops, and then news breaks that The General is next ...
  9. I love how people are giving me shit for just simply reporting on what I'm seeing others say. Ya'll are the biggest fucking group of pussies online I swear
  10. I never once claimed this song wasn't coming out. Stop obsessing over me weirdo.
  11. Getting torn to pieces on FB article comment sections ... The casuals have spoken ... They hate it!
  12. I understand. And just being funny here, but how the artist intends for us to hear it? I think it's blatantly obvious Axl never intended for us to hear this song. No, it doesn't seem like the General is next. There is no indication that's the case. This entire forum overnight 100% convinced themselves the General is next.
  13. Yeah, just not understanding why it actually matters if it's formally released or not. That doesn't change anything. You've heard the song. It won't sound nearly as good live. Wanting it to be released and played live is fine, but if it doesn't come out on the 18th, nothing has changed. It's still going to come out.
  14. Why does it matter to you so much? You already heard the song lol. We've had it for 4 years now. The official release is only going to be slightly different.
  15. All of my PRL album tracks I had uploaded on Soundcloud for the past 3 years were just removed all at once Thyme P.R.L. Dub Suplex D Tune State of Grace Devious Bastard Quicksong Eye On You If The World (Removed in 2019 when first uploaded) Nothing Inside Out Shackler's Revenge (Removed in 2019 when first uploaded) Oklahaoma Dummy
  16. Slash's comments about what we can expect to come out from ChiDem leftovers (6 max) , and the three that have been released so far (including Perhaps ahead of actual release here) we know were already ready for release from the Village leaks , and then taking those facts we have and reevaluating the leaked (and not proven real or fake) email with the supposed CD II track list which consisted of only a handful of songs + the remixes. This is my personal conjecture.
  17. Evidence of late suggests CD II was only a handful of songs and then those weird remixes
  18. I'm sorry you have such high expectations for somebody who's been phoning it in for years now
  19. Are people reay expecting Slash to go all out with an inspired soulful solo to Chi Dem leftovers? lmao cmon now
  20. Well I have to say I am surprised. They didn't ruin the song! Look forward to hearing the proper release in actually good quality.
  21. Imagine if this was some song we haven't heard yet ... like the mythical Soul Monster, or Thyme, or Seven ... And this is how we get our first listen ... Only this band can fuck up so bad on releasing one song that's already over 20 years old ... God damn
