  1. Sphere for the 40th anniversary celebration of AFD - in 2027. Residency. You heard it here first 🤣
  2. Check these out.. this venue is truly the coolest, I legit can’t wait to see it in person: https://www.wallpaper.com/art/making-of-u2-uv-achtung-baby-live-at-sphere-las-vegas https://www.thestreet.com/travel/these-big-names-likely-to-follow-u2-at-las-vegas-strip-sphere if I had to guess, I’d say if GNR did something like U2 is doing they’d get a Sphere residency too.. again if I had to put money down, I’d say it’ll be Coldplay (and Harry Styles) next up for the sphere if only for their Azoff connections. At some point Phish will camp out there as well.
  3. Zero chance lol - the Spheres design team needs like a year to plan the show as it’s all proprietary tech. MSG won’t talk to anyone that’s not doing a residency. source: trust me bruh (no but seriously I have a few friends/coworkers on the Sphere project so I’ve been in the know about this the past few years.. it’ll be Coldplay after U2)
  4. …I’m not seeing this 90% sold anywhere except non-stadiums in the US. The smaller rooms are certainly full, yes. And they utilize both modeling agencies and “modeling” agencies to fill seats and make it look not full. lol here’s a video from 2016… https://www.tmz.com/watch/0-qywd0scf/ this is a very music biz thing, many bands do it. But gnr always does it in markets that don’t sell well..
  5. That’s a really cool fucking poster. I’d grab one if I was going.. I never say that about merch either.
  6. Have any of you seen this Skate line that has a GNR collaboration? All AFD and UYI stuff only of course. Does Nando get a pat on the head or what? https://primitiveskate.com/collections/guns-n-roses
  7. Axl slash and duff I’m SURE each have their own Star Bus (bedroom in the back and a few support bunks in the front) they are quite comfy for the Star I think, everyone else travels 12 to a bus!
  8. Small rooms are always premium prices - I saw the financials for the last time they played a similar sized room in NJ (either last year or right before covid) and the cheapest ticket face value was like $450! I’m sure that Plat, their vip stuff and the reselling market sent those into the stratosphere! I love seeing big bands in small rooms though so I’m often happy to pay a premium for that experience.
  9. So at these capacities, unless they are going to change production to a 360 stage show, they are going to play to 180 and maybe even 220 capacities meaning: 10-12K, 9-10K and 6-7K respectively which.. GNR will have no trouble selling, and I’m sure their egos will take a fabulous stroking at the “sold out” messaging. Hopefully… Axl is ok after all of this.
  10. are the added dates arenas at least? Or stadiums?? That’s so many tix to sell in such a short time 🤦🏻‍♀️
  11. Wow. Theres a whole lot of Lebeis family shit up in those links. Just wow… they’ve really gotten themselves all into Axls life.. *just shaking my head here and cringing honestly…
  12. If that’s the case, and people on this forum are to be believed, he’s sounding both THE GREATEST and THE WORST ever. This is just what he sounds like now folks, and you can believe whatever you choose to believe. Someone above said “standard Axl now” and tbh, that’s a very realistic outlook.
  13. G-d I hope you’re wrong🥺 as much credit as I give the man for wanting to do it, it’s a real dangerous and risky move.. very sad if true.
  14. Eeeehhhhhhh the promoter works with the band and band managers/agents with messaging like that. If I had to guess both sides would be happy to let St Loo go away permanently. Sales weren’t very good, so it works for both ends to scrap it.
  15. Ooooof only like 2 or 3 shows in… this was a tour that’s been on the books since 2020… supposed to play off that summer. They kept pushing because of STs vocal issues and they were finally given the green light. Awful situation, I hope he heals…
  16. There’s always a list of Mayer faces backstage that people take bets on during his shows. The man loves to play! Thanks to @Cosmo for that delish pic above, a lovely morning indeed 🤩 Joe Bonanasa is impressive in terms of career touring revenue. The man regularly and consistently sells out theaters 1500-3000+ around the world an… I couldn’t name you a single song he’s done. When I first started out, all of my guitar nerd friends freaked out when his shows came around. there’s a niche for all!
  17. You mean John Mayer? I saw/see him with Dead and Company every summer Covid withstanding in sold out stadiums. And sold out arenas too, with Dead and Co m, his solo band, AND as a trio.
  18. This comment every day of the week! It’s been so wild for me to hear some of the feedback on this board (and at shows from casuals) - but those who know, know!
  19. And @BucketEgg that makes it worse. A tour bus can have up to 12 bunks, Star Buses have a full bedroom in the back and a few bunks up front. It’s such a weird thought to have him in there with them though… I figured they all followed and he had his own, there’s literally zero privacy and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to pass someone with brushing up against them. oh. And no number 2s.. ever. Hence bus/truck stops..
  20. He shares a bus… with Beta…. have any of you guys ever been on a tour bus? I’m not trying to be a smart ass it’s a serious question! If you’ve been on a tour bus, you’d be laughing and shaking your head as well..
  21. I’m sorry!! Sucks to be out of money like that… but I just don’t see a gnr show cancelled for Frank. Not in this (or any) lifetime.
