fuck ..... I gave up, and listened to the mp3 like 37 times, i wanted to have it and save it in case nothing happened this Friday, but fuck it, is easy to say it now but later and if you really care abt this song it's gonna be impossible to hold on the curiosity on a boring Wednesday evening. I had a rough week and was really looking forward to this. At first it was hard to listen to it without the original instrumentation, specially some synth parts and the guitar melody, but it's a simple song and it's not gonna be as hard to get used to it as HS was. I think Slash's solo is fine, and i don't mind that transition because that exact bend was probably the best part of the old solo, i think that it's just a nod from Axl to Robin, (or maybe on his mind it wouldn't be fair to leave him out of the song) and not necessarily that they chose to keep that part because it sounds better than just Slash alone. I have a strong feeling that the transition is going to feel much seamless when we have the proper version. Everything else like the vocals and drums are an improvement imo. And even so, after a while, i forgot that i was listening to a new version. They are both really good to me, i just naturally prefer the demo like everybody here, but i really, really like this song, maybe way too much lol.

I'd love for Axl to tease the song but we all know damn well that until Friday they are not even gonna mention it, it's just gonna be another NITL+deep cuts show. IIRC they didn't even acknowledge or played Hard Skool the SAME NIGHT it was being released, and i think it was already out in other parts of the world, Perhaps leaking on jukeboxes due to absolute incompetence isn't getting a mention, in my opinion.

So i guess the countdown now will be pointless? Are they still gonna put it out there for the casuals? Wow that's sad.
