How was the audience reception after The General? Did they seem to like it?

I hope she will feel better too. I remember earlier in the year, there was some comments in one of the show threads saying she looked bored or disinterested. But considering her instagram posts, she's still pretty bummed out about a friend of hers dying young. and now she's dealing with this illness too.

We don't know the leaker's intentions, but if we go with the "leaker was annoyed by the delay" theory, imagine if the GnR camp communicated a week or two earlier before the shipping date, about how the vinyls they got didn't sound any good, so they were going to delay it, That way, the fans have more time to reset their expectations on when they'll hear the song, and they won't be as pissed. If the fans weren't as annoyed, maybe the leaker wouldn't have felt compelled to leak early. Maybe the terrible last-minute delay announcement is to blame, or a secret gift

At 3:52 of the General, I can hear something that sounds like that tune, buried under all the guitars and the singing. Can't tell if it's the synth or the horns though.

The very start. They didn't use the horns, but the synth at the start and the horns sound a bit similar.

I was listening to the General on low volume, and the intro for the general and the horns section sounds somewhat similar in tune

I like the vocal effects on the General. It's like there's multiple Axls. low mellow + background higher voice, in the Daddy don't verse - Child axl Can anybody help me verse voice - This Axl is in pain but no one can hear him. The distortions on the voice makes it sound distant, like it's buried beneath something, or it's behind a wall, or its low quality because the signal is bad. So it's a cry for help that can't be heard clearly by others. High clear voice in "My only regret Is that I never took the time to forget" - I think that's a somewhat older Axl, because the lyrical content sounds like he's reflecting on something. And it sounds "stronger" than the mellow voice for the child verses. Don't know what to tell you now, Robo Axl - Someone that keeps going on like a robot, but divorced from feeling things properly. That's why robo-axl dosn't know what to tell you now. Notice that "Can anybody help me" Axl doesn't return for a third time. I think he turned into Robo Axl, because he doesn't cry for help anymore. Robots don't feel pain, he can just keep on going. For Monsters, "Dynamic duo, keep your figure crashing" What do you think the dynamic duo is? I'm thinking they're possibly two fists, and "they keep your figure crashing", because the fists are punching a person.

I'm not logged into MyGNRForum on my phone, so when I wake up in the morning, check the forum, and see that it's closed to non-logged in users, it's a great feeling because that means something big must have happened

Why did it leak now? Did the leaker simply have the opportunity at this time, or did the GnR community look so sad and pitiful that the leaker took pity on us and released the tracks?

I think I like these tracks! For Monsters, it's a bit amusing that Evader's guess of "Who would do this to you" turned out to be a bunch of "ooo ooo ooos" on the real track. I'm happy to have listened to the Evader version, and these tracks!

This last minute delay announcement is such a nuclear-facepalm. Maybe this was the real "present" for our Halloween trees all along. I quite like the instrumental intro for the General. Did Axl or another collaborator write that? Maybe Axl could have a solo side project filled with instrumental music he composes. He did say something like "It is something that I would like to do at some point in the future" in regards to film scores. I hope he gets around to it one day.

Based on what people from Indiana/Lafayette on the internet say about Axl, (it appears many don't like him e.g. Mod had to clean the group up from Axl hate https://www.facebook.com/groups/212841998764020/posts/543019242412959/ ), I wouldn't be surprised if someone from Axl's area wants to troll his fanbase. But who knows, maybe that person is just a very very lucky fan and it's a very strange coincidence.
