He swore how Tommyland the Ride was exactly the type of music he wanted to make - and incidentally he went for the MySpace/pop/emo sound popular at the time. Now he's turning his back on that sound and it seems like he's going for some type of electronica dance music. It sounds like the music that plays in Abercrombie + Fitch, only a million times worse. That fake Daft Punk shit. Does he really think people are *really* interested in hearing his music? The only interest there is because he's a celebrity and if people will go see Paris Hilton sing, what WON'T they go see? Incidentally Paris' tour was successful and album was a flop because the only reason people pay to see celebrities is out of curiosity and the experience of being within touch of them. That's why Tommy's DJ album will flop when it comes out and in ten years he'll be back as a 50-year-old loser with some new type of "hip music" that he "wanted to do all along" but wasn't "allowed" to make. Just as Vanilla Ice said when he started making thug music. And I'm not a fan of Motley Crue, either, but god, at least they kind of stuck to their guns (no pun intended). I'm sure most anybody that ever had some kind of a name can scrounge up 30,000 of those and put them into an arena.Selling out Rapid City or Greenville, SC is much more of a feat in my book.
