Since the ball is rolling in some form

GNR 1991

Guns are more likely to tour the States or Europe or even South America this year, with Azoff as head honcho -- there's no fucking around, really. They'll finish negotiations with Geffen, announce a date, tour/release.

Anyways, what sort of setlist do you guys want for this year (if they tour)? I think it should be vastly different from 2006/2007, with a couple more new tunes. Here's how I'd do it, but realistically:

01. Chinese Democracy

02. It's So Easy

03. Mr. Brownstone

04. Perfect Crime

05. Think About You

06. Robin Finck Solo

07. Better

08. Sweet Child O' Mine

09. TWAT

10. Dizzy Reed Solo

11. The Blues

12. Civil War

13. Sorry

14. Axl intro/November Rain

15. IRS

16. Look At Your Game Girl

17. Bumblefoot Solo

18. Don't Cry

19. Patience

20. Nightrain

Encore:

21. Welcome to the Jungle

22. Madagascar

23. Paradise City

More options:

Rocket Queen

Back in the Saddle

Aint It Fun

Down on the Farm

Riyadh

Prostitute

I'd like it if they switched things up a bit, and also played ALL of the leaks more often.

Welcome To The Jungle/Chinese Democracy

It's So Easy

Mr.Brownstone

Live And Let Die*

Better

Rhiad And The Bedouins

Sweet Child O' Mine

Knockin' On Heaven's Door

Out Ta Get Me*

November Rain/There Was A Time

My Michelle*

The Blues

Oh My God

Patience

IRS

Rocket Queen*

Nightrain

Encore:

Welcome To The Jungle/Chinese Democracy

Madagascar

Paradise City

---

The ones with the * would be songs that could be switched up everynight.

Down On The Farm

Sailing

Don't Cry

Used To Love Her

You're Crazy

etc.

The / means they could choose between the two songs. Whatever they felt like playing.

I am thinking any combination of older GNR songs fromn the last tours without Out to Get me, and KOHD, plues some new songs. Lose My Michelle as well.

Add Dead Horse, Estranged, Breakdown.

I wouldnt mind some new tunes but i dont want the new band to do any new old songs if that makes sense, songs like locamotive, civil war etc. That way if the original band do ever get together they can play songs that we havent heard axl sing in ages.

x2

This band should play its own material and only play 2 or 3 songs from the GNR catalogue.

They still have to prove themselves and they won't be respected as long as they play songs they didn't write.

CD can only be the opener when the album is released. As awesome as an opener it would be, it would make for a rather bad opener seeing as no one knows what it even is right now. Everyone knows Jungle.

Obviously I would only expect a dramatic change to the setlist after the album comes out.

At the very least though, I'm hoping that they will play ALL the new songs which they've done live to this point; whichever material is going to end up being released anyway.

Chinese Democracy

Better

There Was A Time

The Blues

Riyadh

Madagascar

IRS

And either add or at least rotate with other songs they've either done less frequently or have been rumoured as being 'rehearsed' like "Oh My God", "Don't Cry", "Down on the farm", "Civil War" etc

The more new songs though the better.

I like that everyone is like "Play this unreleased song, or this one," you guys have no idea what any of the songs sound like, so just say, "New song, other new song," you just assume those (since they are the most mentioned titles) are the best songs. I would however like Axl to throw in (from the existing, by that I mean Everett setlist) Perfect Crime, Right Next Door to Hell, Civil War, DON'T DAMN ME!!!!!!!!!!, Don't Cry, and Yesterdays or 14 Years to the list.

Well, of course I want to hear new music and I agree with you on the UYI songs too.

Open with Chinese Democracy

play all new songs. I don't want to hear the AFD tour again. They can chuck in a few (Jungle, Nightrain, Paradise City) throughout the set or as encores.

I never want to hear Robin stumple through SWOM ever again thank you. It's so Easy belongs with Duff in VR so leave that one out too please.

Be ruthless and move on if you want to be taken seriously
