Randy Lahey
I'm off to see Metallica on Tuesday. This will be the second time I've seen them and to be honest I'm not all that excited right now. This show has kind of crept up on me. Have any of you seen them on this tour? What's the setlist like? Wow, sad they're not opening here in Denmark next summer. Lamb Of God and Mastodon is the warmup bands here. Not really pleased with that, but oh well, I came to see Metallica, not the warmup bands. I'm planning on skipping that part.I wouldn't, I caught them supporting Sabbath a while back, great live act actually, even if you're not a big fan of their records.... Proof is here I was there, too... great set.

Randy Lahey
Metallca sounded like shit last night. James Hetfield was so fucking annoying with his comments. I left before the encore. Edited December 3, 2008 by Randy Lahey

Randy Lahey
Ohhhh Yeah, Vancouver. The Metallica family, Vancouver style. It was pathetic. I wanted to punch him in the face.
Ant
Damn, Randy. I thought last night was amazing compared to the St. Anger show at GM place -- the Master of Puppets and Battery combo? Come on! They were really tight. And you missed Stone Cold Crazy and Am I Evil? . Yeah sober James is annoying, but musically I thought they sounded killer. But either way, it's just nice to see a band that motivates a Vancouver crowd to actually wake the fuck up.I just wish they played Creeping Death!
