Guest deleted_19765
Here's a classic, Steve Perry not only matching but topping the studio version of "Don't Stop Believin'". Not many human beings could sing this, let alone so absolutely perfectly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNB1EUJg1-wI'm sure most of you have heard of Sam Cooke. His version of "Tennessee Waltz" is not as well known. Listen for the note he lands, and hangs onto, in the phrase starting at around 2:15 "But I remembaaaaaah". Everyone in the studio was apparently watching, not believing Sam would hit this note. He gets up there one more time for good measure before the track ends : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ut_1yWzG_MPretty much everything Camaron De La Isla sings is amazing, but here he is burning up a round of Fandangos with Tomatito in 1990: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEj7wL4I1c8Post your favorites please, I want to be impressed! I expect some Elvis from my man Artie. Edited September 2, 2009 by AgainstAllOdds

Snake Eyes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssun-uqjA3EPavarotti. Absolutely incredible. Miss Sarajevo.------- These Days - Jackson Browne. Doesn't exactly stretch his voice as his other songs do, but he is without a doubt my favourite musician/singer of all time, and the fact he wrote this song when he was 16 is just beyond me."Don't comfront me with my failures, I have not forgotten them"Incredible. Graeme
2:04-2:09 = Holy Shiiiitte ... Incredible what Anders does with his voice on the choruses... such a talent. Train- Calling All Angels Patrick Monahan has such a wonderful, strong, expressive, pure voice. Live at Rock am Ring, Axl sounds like a plane coming in to land at the start of the song, I've NEVER heard him sound so badass. There must be about 6 parts to the vocal harmony there, some crazy dissonances. it sounds really resonant, really haunting and so beautiful. I really wanted The End of Heartache from this show, but youtube disabled the audio on it, so this'll have to do. Howard Jones alternates between an amazing, powerful screaming tone and a massive, anthemic soulful siren of a voice.

LightningBolt
Geoff Tate is often considered a terrific singer, though I feel his voice can get a bit irritating, but "Jet City Woman" and "Warning" are two superb Queensryche songs. Gods Favourite
Jeff Buckley - Forget Her (live at CBGB)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MydQdb_-nm8I just love Buckley's voice, it was so "soft" and relaxing to listen to and I think this live version just shows that. Man, it's just magic. Just listen from 5:05 and onwards

Snake Eyes
absolutely awe-inspiring implementations of the human voicethis..Saw them this year in Edinburgh Castle, though their harmonies were a bit off at times, they put on a great show. Did a set of classics, along with a couple of covers including Ruby Tuesday.
