I saw them at Target Center a couple of weeks ago...capacity is 18,000+, they sold about 8,000 on that one. Axl has some difficult decisions to make once this tour wraps. Does he keep pushing this version of the band? Does he go and do a solo album & tour? Or...does he reconcile with Slash, Duff & Izzy and do a reunion tour? IF they make it into the R&R HOF, my bet is on the latter.So, basically your saying Axl should reunite with the old band to increase record sales in the U.S.? Are you serious? I don't think any of the five men you mentioned would consider ever doing that, because it would have to be a mutual decision to reunite, not a money factor. And besides, they haven't had much success in the US since the 2001 tour, but everywhere else they play to packed hours with 50k, 60k sold out shows in South America. Cant for the life of me understand why someone would spend between 50-70 dollars for a ticket and leave early. I sat beside 5 people In wilkes Barre that stayed for 3 songs and left.Wilkes Barre audience was loaded with Mohegan Sun high rollers who were comped, they didn't pay a dime for their tickets ... unless you count the ton of money they lost at the casino.Two years ago I was front row center at an MGM Grand Foxwoods concert, there was a couple next to us who appeared to be in their early 70's and very wealthy. The fact that people didn't have to wait all nite made them easier to please. People were so fucking into it and that's wat axl feeds off it. Its obvious. Earlier start time=happier crowd=the band having fun/not going thru motions. Incredible. Gutta nurse my ecstasy hangover b4 work starts. Ouch.
