Val22
So good to hear it!I called the Hard Rock hotel today to confirm my hotel reservation and the woman who answered said "Welcome to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Home of Guns N Roses".I thought that was way cool! It's a good way for people to know that Guns is playing shows there incase they aren't aware and it's very cool for fans to hear it too.Well, only 5 more hours to go and I'm on a plane to Vegas! Can't wait to get there and see GNR tomorrow night! This is going to be so damn awesome!

Apollo
so glad they are making money! fuck the music! It is funny how some people say attendance doesn't matter.....then they celebrate GnR selling 3000 tickets. Motley sold out their residency, weird that GnR can't.But ya, I did chuckle at your post. Apparently the money is what is important to some fans. Don't people realize that a real band (Springsteen, Metallica, Bon Jovi etc....) could sell out the HRC for months on end.....shit these bands could sell out MGM Grand or MSG for multiple nights. Axl "selling 3000" tix for a few nights isn't news worthy.

rabia
Good to see that GN'R are doing well with the residency. For those who dream misty-eyed about Axl running out of money and being forced to do a reunion because he's a pauper, this information will just add to the wealth of bitterness they have amassed for themselves. kyrie
How did they add more seats between week one and week twoThis is actually a great question and I noticed no one answered:Most venues have the capacity to add a few seats here and there. Since attendance actually went up, the venue may have increased capacity a little in case there were any last minute walk up ticket buys - it is Vegas after all. Alternately, there could have been a VIP group or something brought in that was accommodated for. The extra number of seats was pretty low - we're talking less than a hundred.Still, the fact that the numbers went up from the first three shows (which did very respectable business) to the second three is an excellent sign. This is really turning out to be a great run for GN'R in the U.S., where the new band has struggled to connect with fans (in comparison to basically every other country on planet, where they still have excellent success).
