I love those movies, and thought he was pretty much done with movies after Red State based on him actually saying that. I'm really excited and happy! dalsh327 Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Just saw Clerks 10th and Clerks 2 a few months ago. I just think it was cool for Kevin to bring the characters back in their 30s. I think the decision to film most of it in Cali was kind of weird, but the tone of these two guys still at this station in life where they hadn't moved up was appropriate. I kind of hope III will be another roadshow even though the movie sells itself. What's interesting to me is that Kevin wrote the film when NJ got hit with a big hurricane back in the 90s, and used insurance money to help fund that one. I don't know if the hurricane is going to factor in, or if he's going to be incorporating "Jersey Shore" in some way to this one. He'll probably answer what he is and isn't going to be doing.
