I only like certain tracks off of those albums. I can't listen to any of them all the way through. Which takes us right back to why I started this thread in the first place.

I imagine them taking it quite well to be honest, being that its a song whoose chorus at least is making light of American Gun culture and whoose author was a victim of gun crime, possibly one of the most famous victims of it in the 20th Century.

Quite weird actually, when you listen to the song Attica State, about prisoners "free the prisoners jail the judges free all prisoners everywhere, all they want is truth and justice all they need is love and care" and John and Yoko are defending those lyrics on the David Frost show, arguing with audience members and they said what if it was someone who loved or your this that or the other that these criminals killed and Yoko's like they all need love, they all need forgiving...and yet to this day she maintains that she cannot forgive Chapman and wants him to remain in prison forever and ever.

So yeah, life certainly changes your perspective.
