HisRoyalSweetness
when you think of the album's whole saga, who deserves the MVP award?i vote for irving azoff. without him, i don't think the album would have ever come out.

Hiipu
Bucket and Robin shared. Without them there wouldn't have been anything worthy to listen to

Stro
If we are excluding the obvious answer of Axl, Tommy probably would be the MVP if the bass wasn't so low in the mix. But I would say Robin. He did most of the heavy lifting throughout the album and his sound is really the only unifying thing about it. Edited May 4, 2013 by Stro
Rovim
Bucket and Robin. They've created a big chunk of the album's sound, and their playing styles go really well together and with Axl's voice imo.

themadcaplaughs
As much as I love Buckethead, I'd have to say Robin only for the fact that he was there for so long, and as others have pointed out, was one of the few unifying sounds between each song. Brain would get a close second.
dalsh327
Robin helped get ChiDem off the ground, and it's a shame he left. Azoff going to Ticketmaster dropped the ball on GNR, but the Best Buy negotiation was good for the record company bitching about Axl spending "their" money (which goes back to my question, how much did Axl make Geffen Records over the years?) . niceguy
The keyboard they used for ProTools editing and mixing.Seriously, those cmd+C and cmd+V keys took such a beating, it's incredible they actually still function. I believe that keyboard is now in the Smithsonian.
