Black Sabbath
Let's not turn this into an Axl-bash-Fest. Thanks
Nick83
Dude, Axl runs all over stage and sings the most demanding rock probably ever written. No offense to Mick, but this aint no comparison.
Facekicker
I love how people are trying to make it sound easy to do Mick's job, you know like being the frontman that arguably set the template for a rock band is somehow a walk in the fuckin park next to what Axl has to do.This really explains the mentality here:

wasted
There isn't one song in the whole Stones back catalog that Axl wouldn't find a walk in the park. Doubt Jagger could even sing Don't Cry?
dalsh327
It all depends what you like in a frontman.
classicrawker
There isn't one song in the whole Stones back catalog that Axl wouldn't find a walk in the park. Doubt Jagger could even sing Don't Cry?The problem is Axl struggles to sing that and many of the more demanding GnR songs on most nights now....and he does not move and dance like Mick does all concert and Mick is close to 70yrs old now........ PappyTron
Mick Jagger is the greatest frontman in the history of rock and 50 years after starting out he still puts 100% energy into his shows. Now, that energy may not be at the level it was in the 60s, but he still gives it all that he has an it is embarrassing to read people saying "oh, well, he doesn't have to do what Axl does so what's he complaining about?". Bunch of maroons.

Axl has his problems but theres no way the Stones set is as demanding as GNR. Maybe Axl needs to get in better shape. Especially if he wants to do it at 70. but i think basically if he can do YCBM at 70 it wouldnt be luck. Its virtually impossible.
