Stro Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 I've tried many a time to get into the Stones, or even just to hear what was influencing GNR, but I've never been able to find the right songs, I guess. I came across Dancing with Mr. D, which is great and sounds like Izzy listened to it on repeat for years. I need more songs like that and less like Dead Flowers. I also listened to a lot of Hanoi Rocks and didn't really hear the influence besides the song Don't Cry was clearly stolen from.
