When I'm high with the roommates I feel so awkwardly quiet and I think, 'Fuck they all think I'm weird and silent.' and 'Shit I'm so high.' or 'God dammit, say something and stop acting like a tart!' So then naturally I say something really stupid even though in my mind it sounded intelligible. Then I feel like a jackass and I wander to my bedroom and watch some TV. Gordon Comstock Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 It's usually not weird if there's a group and I know 2-3 people but if I don't really know people I tend to stay silent (unless I'm drinking), sorta just trying to feel out the atmosphere, which either leads to chill conversation or awkwardness. Depends on the people really. I'm fairly anti-social so I get the panicky 'Oh shit I'm the quiet weirdo' thing.I haven't really gone out a lot to smoke with other people though, like the place I used to live in was right downtown and it was just me and my ex, so our place was where a lot of 'gatherings' were, that made it more relaxing I guess. I'm moving in with roommates soon though who both smoke, I'm hoping it won't be weird. They seem nice. I think one's going to school for IT stuff.
