Popular Post Klay
I dunno if this has been posted already; this is a very interesting interview with Mike Clink (GN'R AFD/UYI/Lies/TSI records, Megadeth, UFO, Whitesnake, Metallica, Motley Crue,........ producer) where he discusses the AFD recording process and how he captured the sound for that record; he goes into detail about equipement and microphones being used on studio, gear, work schedulle,...Very informative if you're into this kind of information, as told in first hand by this legendary producer.Jump to 29min10s where he starts talking about AFD. Brunzopolis
Near the start, they're talking about Clink's experience producing a Super Bowl halftime show, and Clink says they have a 'premix' (from rehearsals), but that it's never been used, and is only there for an emergency. Would that be vocal tracks too do you think? I know (I think) that every SB national anthem performance since Whitney Houston's famous one from the early 90's, has been lipsynced.
