There's a tendency to pick out certain guys especially the ones that die. But the whole rock scene, music is awash with drugs. So it can be a mistake to read into the media narratives. It's if we isolate this one case and say it's bad everyone is safer and bad. But actually everyone one loves it.

It's like your alter ego. Everyones been getting a good laugh and loving his stuff for like 20 years, now its like ohhh saw that coming.

Maybe it's different people but yeah kind of. But really loooking at a lot of bands there's all kind of carnage going on. It's part of it. Like Queens of the Stone Age, Marilyn Msnson, Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, Velvet Revolver. Are we really saying no to these bands, this whole strain of rock n roll should be shut down. Look at Lemmy or Keef or Iggy. These are the legends. Scott was in the same business. You can't just isolate him and say look it's bad, he's bad. It's everywhere. Every single band has their casualty.

Well after a certain point, no one can solidly say that is the root cause drugs or depression. It's usually a long haul and those stuff feed each other.
