Would you guys like GNR to follow the Stones patch and have a big band onstage everynight? If getting back to only five guys its not an option anymore, then Melissa is the perfect fit. They played the classics songs better without her back in the day and could do it again. She might add vocals to one or two songs but other than that she is annoying as hell and looks like an asshole on the stage. I would gladly lose her backing vocals to omit all the other nonsense. I would also argue that her backing vocals don't fit on a song like Out Ta Get Me at all. I kind of agree with that and I'm also on the team that just wants five guys onstage but the band got in the big band thing during the 90s and most of the fans hated that, so isnt 1 better than 7? She looks ridiculous jumping around acting like she's rockin out to Nightrain as if she's adding anything of value to the performance whatsoever. Oh sorry she makes the train horn go at the beginning. Honestly she's completely useless. I just look at what they did during the Skin N' Bones tour over the 92 tour.. I don't think the band was ever so tight. And those acoustic sets had a very "full" sound with only the 6 guys. It was the moment that she walked out on the stage at the Troubador that I realized this wasn't going to be as good as it should be.
