RATE: Rock in Rio 2001 - Axl's triumphant return...

Sub Paul for Fortus and it's an incredible lineup, so much potential. I'm one of the rare few who really liked Axl's voice in 01, it was at times more powerful in 02 but overall I thought his vocal tone was better in 01. Rio is probably one of the weaker concerts though.

Remember watching it a few years after and being really shocked by how different it was from the Illusion line up and didn't like it, but grew to like many parts of the show especially Madagascar, Oh My God and November Rain, liked all the solos and what Bucket did with some of the old  songs
