Twinaleblood
According to the setlists floating online, Dust N'Bones was played live only once after Izzy's departure, in Tennessee on Jan 7 1992. Not sure if any recordings have ever surfaced, but any ideas who was on vocals for it? Axl? Duff? Axl & Duff? Dustin Bones? Free Bird
What a question! Obviously 99 Axl was singing. Ask @pele Edited September 18, 2021 by Free Bird
sousadias
Some years ago the bootleg audio was on youtube, I remember it was Axl and Duff on vocals, but the quality of the audio was horrible.
Twinaleblood
Yes, I got to hear it in the meantime and it's exactly what you said. Super crappy recording with Axl and Duff on vocals. Such a shame they let it go. Can't see them dusting it off now, unless maybe they mend fences with Izzy and he shows up as a guest here and there. StrangerInThisTown
Just listened to it, it seems Axl takes a lot of lead vocals here which is awesome, but to me I can't even tell if it's Duff or Gilby doing the other vocals. The "She loved him yesterday" part sounds definitely like Gilby to me. I'd kill to see a pro shot of these rare performances, this is up there with a Locomotive or Bad Apples 1991 pro shot for me. Hope we'll see all that one day. Edited September 25, 2021 by StrangerInThisTown
