Axls_Disillusion
The more I listen to this song the more I am convinced this is one of the big guns. I hope if its not on Chinese Democracy as rumored, it is on the second album.. Its just a kickass song, and I could see it being radio friendly and all that good shit. rock2 I wonder who contributed most to writing the song?I got to hear Chinese Democracy, The Blues, and Madagascar live in person, but not Riyadh YET! I am crossing my fingers that they play it on the 17th!

SylvesterStallone
I wonder who contributed most to writing the song? And the most obvious answer to that is ofcourse...Chris Pittman. Remember...when in doubt...the answer is Pittman....

Dead Flower
Judging from the bootlegs?... No. In fact, I'd say it's a dud.But it does have some redeeming qualities and I wouldn't mind hearing a studio version where Axl can get his vocals spot-on. True, but I was suprised by the number of people on various boards dig that song.As for Rhiad I'm not saying a future classic, but is pretty catchy. Matthias
In my opinion the worst song of the new songs, even Silkworms is better with me. But perhaps the song has changed and perhaps I will like it, if there is a new version, but I doubt it.
Axls_Disillusion
seems to be one of those tunes you either love or hate. I think a studio version could sound spectacular. like classic Axl Rose, just what you expect.

EccoTides
Musically, this song fucking rules - It's in the lyrics and the lack of a strong chorus that the song suffers. I love that intro, and the guitar solos are blazing. If the song has been scrapped, I at least hope that GNR kept that awesome intro - It's a terrific rev-up. W. Axl Kev
I agree. 'Riyadh and the Bedouins' is a really good song. It needs to have a few things to be a success though. 1) Lose the heart beat at the start 2) Have really strong vocals from Axl. He sounds awesome in the Osaka version but if it was really precise for the final album it could be great. I'll give a listen to this monitor mix. EDIT: Wow, the guy can sing. mahimahi
Riyadh and the Bedouins (Axl's Monitor Mix)This is too from Osaka, but this is Axl's Monitor Mix, has even clearer vocals EDIT: Btw, this is NOT a fan made mix. This is actually a soundboard recording, with only Axl's vocals plugged.Thank you for posting this.

steveysham
i personally think the version from the house of blues is better than osaka. the monitor mix is interesting cause at the start u can hear the probs he was having throughout the tour with the sound cutting up for a sec or two
Mr Estranged
awful song in my opinion and the one that makes it so bad is Axl himself!those vocals are dirt and the chorus is awful, guitars alright
