GUNNER PT
I know that, at that time, Myles was probably the easiest choice (for many reasons) for Slash to continue with his solo career ... but, I think that his voice is probably one of the weakest voices in that album.Who do you think that would be the best choice for him to do is solo stuff without killing GNR songs?I would choose Ian Astbury. WFA
Myles, obviously. Not only is his voice great, but he seems to work well with Slash.
DR DOOM
Ghost and Promise are easily my favourites, so Ian or Chris.

Free Bird
I go with Stockdale because of his voice and his songwriting credibility.Don't know if they're getting along well

maynard
Slash and Myles chemistry is undeniable. But I would choose Chris Cornell or Fergie from that list. For different reasons.
DieselDaisy
Ghosts is my favourite. Ian Astbury, Slash, Izzy Stradlin and Josh Freese would make a terrific band.
Coma16
I voted Ian but it was a toss up between him and Stockdale. Slash picked the best person for his goal.
MEXzilla
I feel Cornell would have pushed Slash to a higher level if they had done a full collaboration, rather than just a song. Chris Cornell imo easily has the best voice(even past his prime) on that list.
jmapelian
Myles easily.
Ant
I doubt any of them aside from maybe Stockdale or Shadows, besides Myles, would be interested... maybe Fergie... but nobody wants that. Edited August 21, 2014 by Ant

Nah, he's not a weak frontman. I've seen VR and SMKC, and SMKC was the superior show. Myles not only has great chemistry with the band and the audience, but he's fucking phenomenal live. Rovim
Chris, cause...why not? His acoustic shows makes me believe even more. They can make an acoustic bluesy EP, a full Sabbath meets Zeppelin thing. Could be cool. Edited August 21, 2014 by Rovim
Slash2baz
Sorry but Myles was the best fit to sing the whole Slash catalog from Gn'R to Snakepit to VR to his solo stuff. Technically good and definitely a great guy.You can imagine people like Whit Crane (who is a great friend of Slash & Myles) or maybe M. Shadows

Is that an idiotic theory? Yes. But for some reason......a few people think this way. It is very important to insult Slash at every opportunity.I'd go with Cornell. An entire album by those two guys might be interesting.
jmapelian
the only other singer outside of Myles would be Stockdale given By the Sword was one of my favorites off the Slash album; but I wonder how that would work since Stockdale's band quit on him not only after the 1st Wolfmother album; but after the 2nd album as well. Cornell's song on the album did just about nothing for me. And Myles is about the only guy on the album that you know can handle everything Slash has done throughout his career

Slash really needed someone who is not a diva... That's why i'm not so sure about Chris... but hey that's just my two cents Edited August 21, 2014 by Slash2baz

I guess one of the main advantages about Myles is that he's not a diva, and is low profile. Edited August 21, 2014 by Rovim
