Cool, cool. Kind of getting somewhere. Now Discotheque, MOFO, Please, Sleep Like A Baby Tonight, Trip Through Your Wires, One Tree Hill, Zoo Station, Love Is Blindness, Numb etc. If any of these get played I'll be very happy! :D Also, would be awesome to see them bring back HMTMKMKM again. It was great on the 360 Tour.

It's a shame songs like The Fly can't be played due to Bono's injury. They can work with some like One, but I guess he plays more of a key element in other songs.

Are they not playing any of No Line On The Horizon?

Definitely not a fan of The Miracle. Doesn't work as an opener for the live shows either IMO.

The MIracle absolutely works as an opener. youtube clips don't tell the story. It's a really good opener. Not their best opener but not their worst either.

People can say what they want about their setlists but they've played 38 different songs on this leg of the tour and that makes it their most diverse opening leg of a tour in their entire career. they also played 10 brand new songs tonight. Almost half the set list was new songs from withi the last 15 months. They played The Troubles tonight which is fine but the holy grail treatment that song is recieving from U2 fans is becoming incredibly annoying. It's almost become this pretentious thing to claim how amazing that song is. It's actually making me rebel against it haha.

Also U2 really dropped the ball tonight though by not closing the show with California. It's such an obvious thing to do that it's really annoying they didn't.

Nope. the closest they came was a smal sample of Moment of Surrender at the end of a song but I can't remember which song. Nothing off NLOTH, POP, Zooropa or October.

I'd love them to open with Zoo Station or Discotheque again, but I'm expecting The Miracle to stay as the opener throughout the tour

When did they ever open with Discotheque? I don't think they ever opened with that. They opened with MOFO on the Popmart tour.

I personally think I enjoyed when they opened with Even Better Than The Real Thing the most on the last leg of 360 tour in 2011.

Discotheque just seems like it'd be a great opener for any concert, that's why I threw it in :P yeah, the Live from Mexico City recording on my ipod has Pop Muzik/Mofo as the opener

Why even come into a thread of something you don't like? I'll never understand people like you. It's liek that whole thing if you don't like somthing don't read it yet ehre you are entering into a thread based ona topic you clearly have no interest in for what purpose? Tro lling, hating, expressing how much you dislike something. Makes no sense and is a total waste of yours and everyone else's time.

I could see that but I think Discotheque would work bestt for the encore opener. Just like it was on Popmart. The e stage seems perfectly set up for it. Instead of walking out of a lemon mirror ball they could walk out fo the video screen.

Straight out of the movie Rock Star. This is so great. The guys in the band are just smiling and laughing. They love it. the best is when Bono just hands him the mic and walks away haha.

Bono sings with Bono(Joe)

the shows are fantastic in person but watching at home has gotten a bit boring. The same exact setlist minus a swap here and there and a new song popping up once in a while. Running To Stand Still tonight but still....... you'd think with so many multiple nights in the same city things would be a lot more different than they are. For their own sake you'd think they'd switch it up to avoid complacency and boredom...... guess not.

Funny I downloaded new version of iOS 7 for my phone and innocence and experience was downloaded on my phone directly. That's pretty efficient. So I listen to it miracle, breaking wave and raised by wolves were ok.

But I wonder if every band does this.,U2 is kind of of universal interest so it seems ok but if I got some other stuff like Bieber relentlessly dling on my phone I might go postal.

I was queuing in the freezing rain for the Stones and someone said I wonder what the band is doing? Probably banging groupies.

One wonders on the amount of viagra that would take?

Ronnie was busted a while back in a brothel in Soho? The band want 8 cialis or they won't go on stage.

But no more arena shows for me. It's just sterile and a rip off. At least I went out on top with the Stones. I guess I'll come out of retirement if GNR play Asia again.

U2 and Apple have had a bromance for the past ten years or so: https://www.apple.com/chatterbox/us/2004/11/itms/U2/iTMS05.html

I still need to get some of the tracks that were exclusive to their Complete U2 collection that's no longer being sold..

I remember the Vertigo iPod ad.

Yet still no comment on the Foxcomm suicides. Whatever I like their tunes just dont buy Bono as a rock star, he's kind of like the Dylan Cash of stadium rock. He just doesn't have the mystique or spirit.
