I've come to know the cold, I think of it as home... (The cold weather thread).

Just recently I've felt the cold.

Me and cold, don't get a long.

Maybe I should buy a coat.

But where I am, it's ice time, I don't mind going out. - I have gloves and enough layers and stuff, when nothings coming down on me be it rain/sleet or snow, but still, is cold. Frost that freezes grass and ice on road and pavement/sidewalk time. - No snow; yet. :shrugs:

Wish I could afford to go somewhere warmer right now, like Australia.

The cold in Ireland is fucking horrible. Its the dampness, constant fucking rain and wind and temperatures between -3 and 5 degrees.

It feels a lot colder than it is.

In Denver when I lived there it was -15 and three feet of snow and it didnt feel as cold as Ireland.

I miss the cold of NYC. Texas hardly ever gets any seasons.

Now we're in winter, but you'd never know it by the temperatures.

We go from hot to cold and then stay warm most of the time. This weather is not healthy.

I love cold weather because I feel like I can breathe better and you can always put clothes on to stay warm.

the predications are for a rainy spring like weather for Texas winter, so I won't be happy about it.

I miss seeing the snow falling down. I really need to move back north one day.

Get draught excluders, heavy curtains, and insulate

if your renting, move

Would love to get some luscious heavy curtains, but we are renting.

And we're renting the absolute cheapest place we can in the location we need right now. We find it a stretch to turn the heating on, nevermind moving house. Might talk to my landlord about making some curtains for the place.

Fair enough. If its cheap enough to be worth staying, go for it. Its better to buy somewhere if you can!
